I thought we released Nolan Carroll?

We need to sit him now, or else Hill will eat his breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Time to promote, Lewis, have him shadow Hill.

Brown and Collins have taken a step back their 2nd year. Still good players but they haven't progressed.

Who would have thought that when they didn't put a legitimate DT at the 1 tech next to Collins, he'd struggle?

And the best part about this? The solution to not pairing Collins with a good 1 Tech is to actually make him the 1 Tech. Brilliant! That Marinelli is so crafty.

Brown yes.

Collins...depends. If you mean Collins on Offense - well he has moved to a different position so it takes time to adjust and it seems like he is getting there.

If you mean Collins on Defense.

In 2016 he had 23 total tackles, 5 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 1 Fumble recovery and that is what looks like starting 7 games

So Far in 2017 15 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, o forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery,

So yes a slight down turn in tackles and Sacks.

However I think a fair case can be made that him helping get pressure up the middle has in turn helped create more chances for Irving and Tank to get sacks.

Maliek Collins is also playing more 1 tech since David Irving returned.

There are times when stats mean jack poop and this is definitely the case when discussing Maliek. The dude is the anchor of that line. He's been holding his ground, taking on double teams and making everyone around him just that much better. Unfortunately, there aren't stats for the job he's doing. And since we now live in the age of Madden, the haters only see his low sack & tackle totals and assume that he's 'slumping'.

No one on our team or many others can cover Hill 1-1. Brown and Lewis will cover Hill with safety help over the top all game. The bigger question is can Jones cover Kelce 1-1. And can we keep Smith in the pocket so he doesn't kill us with his scrambling.
