I thought he did an OUTSTANDING job today. He's fleet, competes and plays with great composure. I think his upside is underestimated. I'm not saying he's Patrick Peterson but I think he's a guy to watch. Quality starter for sure, and soon.

I posted that is another thread, the key is that the 49ers targeted him and they stopped when he kept making plays. That tells you the kid can play.

On about two plays he was like an inch away from tipping passes. He's gonna get better. I'm excited about his continued growth.

He played very well today.

Jeremy Kerley is a handful. In fact, he might be the most dangerous weapon SF has on offense other than Carlos Hyde. He did some damage but Brown really impressed me, especially with the game on the line.

He seems to be a damn solid draft pick for sure...

It isn't hard to imagine this draft producing three elite talents in Zeke, Smith and Dak - plus an above average starter in Collins, plus other starting caliber players in Brown and Darius Jackson. And you will still get surprises down the road from guys like Rico Gathers and Kavon Frazier.

Hitting on a player like brown is a huge part of building your roster
If this kid can be a good player that really helps the secondary and at a cheap price in terms of cap and picks
Huge if he is a player like he looks like he can be

Meh, I thought he was okay. Decent fill in, but nothing I'm writing home about. Hopefully Scandrick gets back to form.

your just a "meh" guy aren't you

I certainly don't think he played poorly. Outside of the two pass deflections, I thought he was giving up a little too many yards, one on a big third down. Now he is a rookie, but I need to see a little more before I go on about him. Reminded me very much of Sterling Moore, will get a deflection and then give up a decent to big play right after.

We thought the secondary could be the weak link besides the pass rush until we got DLaw back. But now it may be the strength of the team, and will only get better once DLaw returns.

Pleasantly surprised to see him do so well, although it wasn't really unexpected. I thought it was great to see a rookie respond to the pressures of live action so impressively. It certainly appears as though we've hit pay dirt with this rookie. Evidently, things are looking up for the secondary.
