When Brown gets beat, he's always right there.

He has great awareness and always turns his head around to try and make a play on the ball. I don't know if secondary coach Joe Baker deserves credit for that, or if Brown is just that advanced.

I thought he did an OUTSTANDING job today. He's fleet, competes and plays with great composure. I think his upside is underestimated. I'm not saying he's Patrick Peterson but I think he's a guy to watch. Quality starter for sure, and soon.

If the Cowboys could ever amount a consistent pass rush, then we will see this secondary truly come of age. Unfortunately, Gabbert had all time to throw today (for the most part).

He played really good in preseason and it looks like its translated well to his first couple of starts in the reg season. The kid has instincts, can cover, but from what we saw in preseason (and haven't seen yet in reg season), he can tackle really, really good for a CB.

If he continues to improve, this might be the best draft class this team has had in a LONG time.

Zeke, Dak, Brown, Jaylon Smith???

Yeah I do like how they looked out there, and stepped it up when we needed them to do so.

Now if that is Aaron Rodgers standing back there with all day......well it could've been a long day....and we will see that soon enough.

Collins can't be underrated. He is starting over our biggest FA addition.

It could end up being a special class, but we won't see if it actually is til Jaylon hits the field.

I certainly don't think he played poorly. Outside of the two pass deflections, I thought he was giving up a little too many yards, one on a big third down. Now he is a rookie, but I need to see a little more before I go on about him. Reminded me very much of Sterling Moore, will get a deflection and then give up a decent to big play right after.
His a freaking rookie for Football knowledge's sake.

Yes. I think they found a good one here. I like the way he plays. Dare I say the secondary looks good. They've been solid

He seems to be a damn solid draft pick for sure...

Yep. Saw him play once a couple years ago and thought he'd be a solid pick. But...this good? Heck no, I was hoping for a solid backup.

Better than both Carr and Scandrick

He looks like a player. If we hit on a 6th-round pick like him, that's how you start rebuilding a defense right there.

Surprisingly, the secondary is playing very well. Even Wilcox made a play.

I like the aggressive play and he was solid today. With that said the 49ers have borderline starting wrs, so its hard to judge.

Brown is looking like a good player who has potential. I noticed in earlier games he was pretty fortunate on a couple of plays he was beat, but that is part of the game. No player is perfect.

I'm hopeful that he will be at least an average quality starter, which would be a coup in terms of the draft capital spent on him, the cap room we save with him and the upside his youth gives us.
