True, but Eli will get the ball to open receivers, and until that period early in the third when we went to zone, no one was really open. They deserve some credit for that

Not having to commit more players to the box for run stoppage or pass rush really helped the secondary IMO. Props to the DL too!

The thing with Brown that impresses me is his on field demeanor. He looks like a ready football player that plays with unshakeable confidence. If Byron Jones ever calms down out there... this D MIGHT be SB caliber.
I like how the defense played this game obviously. But let's not get carried away. Eli was often given zero time to throw, and he obviously had no OBJ to throw to. As much as credit should be given to the defense, their offense was surprisingly garbage. There will be far sterner tests for this defense to come. One man is particular HAS to stay healthy.

I really like Anthony Brown. He has excellent speed. That defense will still have some growing pains (especially in the secondary). The young pups back there are trying to limit their mistakes. They probably got away with some due to Beckham not being on the field tonight.
I believe this unit will be special in the years to come. Anthony Brown will play a major role in that.

Not sure why some on here where down on him...very good corner with a chance to be even better
