I was struck by all the checkdowns late in the game where Eli couldn't find anything and had to dump it off every single time.

The secondary played well, and they did it without their best corner in Scandrick. This group is going to be excellent - and deep.

The thing with Brown that impresses me is his on field demeanor. He looks like a ready football player that plays with unshakeable confidence. If Byron Jones ever calms down out there... this D MIGHT be SB caliber.

He annoyed the hell out of me with some of the statements he said. "The Giants need a sack, strip sack, interception or something here ". Shut the hell up and call the game like it's supposed to be.

The issue right now is, how much of it was our secondary and how much was it just Giants system and Eli? They've been bad on offense for about 9-10 straight games now. Haven't scored over 20 points since like week 10 of last season

True, but Eli will get the ball to open receivers, and until that period early in the third when we went to zone, no one was really open. They deserve some credit for that
