Another Fan Boy legend.

He's not a very good corner but I would agree he was solid value for a 6th rounder. He's too grabby and when the refs start flagging him, he gets super cautious and gives up way too many plays. Good athlete, awful technician.

This is a make or break year for him since it is his last year on his rookie deal.

Jones is better, no doubt. I was lazy with what I wrote.

My point is (just using estimated figures) that if Jones is $18M and Brown is $9M... they might opt to go with Brown, who is a good player in his own right.

I really like Jones and hope they find a way to keep him, but I could understand Keeping Brown and letting Byron go elsewhere.

Yeah, I know Jones is better but if he’s at $18M and Brown is at $9M (just for example)... then I wouldn’t be surprised if they signed Brown and let Jones go.

Of course Jones is better so I’d rather have him in Dallas, but I don’t know if it’ll happen.

Brown is underrated by most fans, because they keep reading on here from the usuals that he sucks.
He actually is a good player and can fill in at CB when and if needed. He was thrown into the mix and had to learn on the job. But he has progressed decent.

Now if he leaves next year in FA, he may bring us a 6th or th round comp pick. And I will be fine with that. But if they sign him to a team friendly deal for3 years, I will be fine with that too.
