Anthony Henry

It won't matter if Henry plays or not. I predict that the Cowboys will smoke the Eagles again. I don't care that it's at Philly. The Eagles trend right now is to play a bad game then a good game. So let's see. Dallas game was bad, then Charger good. Played Denver poor and tonight against the Washington Foreskins, good. So that means when they play the Cowboys again, they’ll play poorly.... What do you think?

Let's not forget, if Philly ever realizes that it is legal to in fact run the ball, they have one of the most dynamic players in football in the backfield in Westbrook. They are still very dangerous.

and they've tried to run tonight, and still cant

their running game doesnt worry me in the least

Dynamic yes, RB no, he is a pass caching RB, who is great in space, give him the ball between the tackles, for 20-25 times a game, and he wouldnt last 3 quarters.

"Healthy" is really subjective. Sure you can "clear" a guy to play but that doesn't necessarily mean, he is healthy and won't stand a good chance of reinjuring his groin. I think you have to use common sense. Groin injuries are something you don't take a chance with and are really easy to reinjure. I would rather have Henry miss one game than the entire season.

I torn my groin in 10th grade when I played hS basketball, and I only missed 4 games (which amounted to 13 total days, I think).

And how old were you 15 or 16? Huge difference between a kid tearing his groin and a 29 year old adult. Teenagers heal far faster than adults. Also, playing corner in football is far more traumatic to one's groin than playing basketball; it doesn't compare.

I would agree that common sense should be used, Henry will get to test it out this week and if he can't practice then chances are he should not play. On the other side of that coin though if he can make it through practice with no problems then he needs to be out on the field on game day.
