Anthony Miller

Is Ridley a guaranteed 2nd contract starter? I keep hearing he's more of a #2 WR.

He is a #2 wr, and so is pretty much every WR in this draft are projected #2 and 3's.

Very weak WR for top WR talent buts lots of starters in this class.

I don't get why no one likes Ridley. He can come right in and contribute to this offense. If there are better prospects there than i'm fine with taking them. But if Ridley is the best player left on the board....you shouldn't' avoid him because you think you can get a guy in the 2nd round.
The scouts all like him
If you see 50 rankings, he's their #1 WR on maybe 48 of them.
.
Nobody else is more than 1 or 2 times out of 50
As consensus as consensus gets

Reminds me of how people tore down Bosa leading up to the draft. being the consensus at your position brings 10x scrutiny, boredom and trivial nit-picking

Problem with Ridley VS Moore or even a Miller.

Ridley is a great runner but he isn't going to do much YAC compared to those guys because he is simply not strong enough or have the wiggle to compensate. Moore and Miller are both built to take on tackles and can escape them as well as having the similar wiggle and speed Ridley does.

With that being said Ridley creates more separation because of route running but is he going to do much after the catch IMO... no, not really.

This is why I like Moore and Miller more than Ridley especially if we can trade back and get another 3rd to get Moore, or wait to the 2nd or maybe later for Miller based on projected draft spots.

ESB is the one WR of the core WR in this draft that has #1 WR potential, and I think that's going to make him intriguing for teams and he might go higher than his projected draft spot in the 3rd.

Fair enough

Like I said, opinions are all over the map.

I'm taking Ridley over Moore or Miller if its at 19.
I'm not even the slightest bit worried about Ridley's YAC potential
Best case, I see him as Antonio Brown or Reggie Wayne, while I see both Moore and Miller as Steve Smith upside.

Now is Miller at 81 (or maybe even 50) better than Ridley at 19....oh yeah.

Miller at 50 is what I'm looking at. Otherwise, I'd probably just take Pettis or Gallup in 3rd area

I just don't see the value at 19 for either Ridley or Moore at 19, but trade back or Miller in the 2nd or 3rd round I see a ton of value.
