Where is this guy going in the draft? Will he be there at 58 or is that too rich?

I see him as a solid 2nd-3rd pick.

He’s a legit 6’-7”, 271 lbs, was really productive at Iowa (23 sacks/31 TFL in effectively three seasons) and tested very well at the Combine.

1.65 10-yard split
35.5” vertical
Nearly 35” long arms

He could an inside/outside guy for us on the d-line.

Looks like a Tyrone Crawford type to me.

Solid athlete, but bit of a tweeners.

Mid/late 3rd for me.

He’ll be gone in a blink.

Trivia Note:
My Dad and Larry Hagman were in the same High School class in Weatherford Texas.

My Dad's sister stayed in touch with him over the years.

There is a statue of his mother in the park. She played Peter Pan on broadway.

His half-brother embezeled money from a company in town and they later found him in Vegas, IIRC.

If you can get Tyrone Crawford at 90, you take that every time.

John Owning had Nelson going to us at #90 in his mock today. Haven't watched film on him yet, but I'm intrigued by his traits.

If Nelson is there at 90 I sprint to the podium. Where is he ranked? I’m out of the loop.

2/3 for me.
I'm a sucker for tall DLinemen...love this dudes size and toughness.
if we miss out on Feguson or Allen...or Willis...this big hawkeye would be good for me.

I see him as a top 75 or so guy, but on the back end of that. Better than the next tier which includes the likes of Ferguson, Ximenes, Crosby, Jackson and Cominsky.

The site I use has him at 94. The mock draft has him going to the Cowboys in the 3rd round.

Gotta be honest....I like Nelson more than Zach Allen. Nelson is a better athlete with better production in a better conference.
