Anthony Spencer jersey

Offensive Players in either QB, RB or WR would command quick Jerseys,

Def players will take a little more time

Bobby Carpenter's was online immediately last year, and maybe wasn't a fast seller, so this may have something to do with it!

Maybe he hasn't really settled on a number yet - or they don't think such a low first round pick would be that marketable yet, so not worth the production costs to date? Cant remember when Carpenter's went up.

I bought a Carpenter jersey last year, and I'm thinking I had it for the start of the regular season. I would imagine we will start to see the rookie jerseys during training camp.

My apologies. :eek::

They probably are just waiting for a market. If it had been a RB, QB, or WR (something like that) we'd probably have seen it by now.

The last jersey I bought was Aikman 's #8 back in '94. It's the only one I own. I guess I'm not much of a jersey guy.

I wouldn't be suprised if only the top 5-15 picks get their jerseys out immediately, sort of like on Draft Day where only a few players get their jersey and a pic taken w/ the Commish

First you can't sell a players jersey until they have signed with the NFLPA.

Second one of my friends is the GM of merchandise for a NFL franchise, you have to order jerseys far in advance because they are produced in China. For instance, if a player comes out of nowhere to be a star if you want a mass quantity of jerseys you have to order them before the previous season is over. After that there isn't enough time for production/shipping etc, so they make the rest domestically. The will send out an e-mail to their vendors offering certain players and then the sports stores and teams respectively can place their order. Seeing as how Spencer was a late first rounder and there are more marketable players out there, it may be a while. Because you have to wait for Reebok to produce the higher profile players first. That is why last year there were Romo jerseys after he debuted. They offered a set quantity; however, outside of the pro shop they were very hard to get. The stores sold out of their online stock rapidly and were in heavy back order. I think my girlfriend tried for 6 weeks to get me a Romo jersey for Christmas before giving up and finding something else.

They have like 6 billion people over there...Can't Reebok just get the Chinese to round up more kids and fire up more sweat shops? We want our Jerseys ******!!
