Anthony Spencer

I think Spencer is one of those players that needs a foot on his neck. Too lazy to make treatment, too lazy to maintain gap control. The guy also has a gut. Needs to spend more time in the weight room.

He needs a hard nose coach. He also needs no more excuses being made for him.

I hope Garrett is saying that just to keep things peaceful for now and that's not his true assessment.

I think one thing Wade and Garrett agree on is not bad mouthing a player to the press, especially since Garrett is still trying to win them over and hasn't officially got the job.

This is the type of guy that pats Felix on the back after a fumble (which is not a statement against him), so chances are he's not going to go up on that podium and start saying so-and-so hasn't didn't do this and that.

I forget the thread but they posted some of Garrett's philosophy as stated by Garrett himself and one of them was that even if one player is doing something wrong, another player is doing something right so to stay positive.

What concerns me most, is the fact that when he makes a play, rarely does his teammates come up to him for high-fives or praise. I've seen him get sacks, or tackle for loss, and not a single Cowboy will come over to him and give him props. I just don't know if he's well-liked by his teammates. JMO

This might just be it. Him and Jenkins seems lazy and has taken a step or two back from last year.
Lazy players combined with Wade BABY CAKES Phillips is a disaster.:laugh1:
