...pation.

It's killing me. It is physically manifesting itself into a burning sensation I feel in my chest. I also feel pressure in my head. Splotty vision. Slow reflexes. The 7th beer caught me straight in the eye...not even kidding. That may account for the splotty vision, now that I think about it. Anyhow...will this game start already?!?!

How is everybody else feeling about the Cowboys chances tonight? Good? Bad? Personally, considering the Giants have there own injury problems to contend with, I think the Cowboys, overall, are stronger at more positions than the Giants. As cliche as this may sound, it may come down to rather or not the Cowboys have fixed their Special Teams units and if this trend of turnovers can continue from the Preseason. On the other hand, the Romo to Dez and Austin and Witten and Williams and Murray connection could come to life all at the same time and the Cowboys could roll over the Giants completely nullifying the effect of poor Special Teams. What do I know? Personally, I'm hoping for the latter, but something tells me regardless of how wounded a fellow NFCE team is coming into our stadium, they will always play their best football. But given the talent matchups, I don't think the Giants will have enough in the end.

What do you guys think?

Lol. I can't wait, ready to get the monkey off our back at home against the gnats. Also excited to see the new 4-3 defense.

I'm looking forward to seeing everything, but, specifically, I cannot wait to see if the combination of Caesar Rayford and George Selvie preseason play can continue. That will probably be one of the keys to the game considering the Giants will likely gameplan to attack that side of the line early.

I just hope this is not the same old Cowboys we are used to

Trust me. I have that voice in the back of my head, as well. What if everything we have seen up to this point from practice reps to live action in the preseason was just a mirage. But that's only because my roommate, who doesn't exist on gameday, is a Saints fan.

every year we think things are better to see they are not in the regular season. I hope this year is different.

The weakness in the offensive and defensive lines are the same but we can still win with some luck, smoke and mirrors. Plus the Giants are banged up a bit.

I kid around. But I really do understand what you mean. I've said this entire preseason I am cautiously optimistic, but I really do believe things will be different. Maybe not as different as some of us would like at the end of the season, but I do think we will at the very least see a marked improvement in this team. Rather or not that materializes on the field tonight is another question.

Man, it would be great to see us keep it close in the first half and not kill drives with insanely - timed penalties.

No blown coverages and no ridiculous Eli up-for-grabs completions.

I don't think we'll have the penalty problem we had last year. And we should see more turnovers in our favor.

LOL....I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've been pretty hyper all day...kinda like a kid who ate a bag of Skittles before bedtime. My family is about ready to send me to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the game just to be rid of me.
