I have a terrible feeling about this game. I think it will be close at halftime then we get behind in the third quarter only to have a great start to the fourth and fall apart in the end. every game that garrett has coached this team in primetime games so far have gone this way. I really hope this game is different.

Strangely enough, I'm subdued. I'm not as excited about this year. Then, again, I think the Cowboys are going to blow the Giants out. Just a feeling, and I usually don't get those - at least not until supper time. ;)

I'm excited to see if this defense is going to be one that swarms to the football like I think they're going to be. The best defensive coordinators defenses have 2 things in common no matter who their personnel is ... they tackle well and there are a lot of hats on the ball. Even with the DL being shorthanded I'm looking for a lot of intensity and soundness of technique that has been missing for quite sometime around here on that side of the football.

...pation.

It's killing me. It is physically manifesting itself into a burning sensation I feel in my chest. I also feel pressure in my head. Splotty vision. Slow reflexes. The 7th beer caught me straight in the eye...not even kidding. That may account for the splotty vision, now that I think about it. Anyhow...will this game start already?!?!

How is everybody else feeling about the Cowboys chances tonight? Good? Bad? Personally, considering the Giants have there own injury problems to contend with, I think the Cowboys, overall, are stronger at more positions than the Giants. As cliche as this may sound, it may come down to rather or not the Cowboys have fixed their Special Teams units and if this trend of turnovers can continue from the Preseason. On the other hand, the Romo to Dez and Austin and Witten and Williams and Murray connection could come to life all at the same time and the Cowboys could roll over the Giants completely nullifying the effect of poor Special Teams. What do I know? Personally, I'm hoping for the latter, but something tells me regardless of how wounded a fellow NFCE team is coming into our stadium, they will always play their best football. But given the talent matchups, I don't think the Giants will have enough in the end.

What do you guys think?

Take 2 aspirin and call me tomorrow.
