Parcells and his idiotic mind games screwed up Bryant. There is a reason Parcells has very few friends.

What mind games did Campo play with Bryant? What mind games did Roy Williams, who called Bryant a "cancer", play? Or how about Darren Woodson, who called him a "prima donna?" Add Romeo Crennel and Mike Nolan to that list.

Funny that Bryant and Galloway are reunited again.

Not surprised Bryant's standing out. He is what he is -- a guy that, if in the right situation, can challenge for 800 yards and 5 or so TDs as a mediocre first option or solid secondary threat. Given how long he's been in the league now, I doubt he's suddenly going to "break out" for a 15-TD, 1,400-yard season or anything.

And as far as whether we should have kept him? Just look at how much he's bounced around the league. That should tell you enough, especially when considering his attitude history.

Only a moron would blame BP for Bryant- he was labeled as TROUBLE coming out of college and he has gotten himself kicked off of 4 separate teams.
Yeah that is all BP's fault.

If Bennett doesn't get it together over the next couple of years, he could be a Bryant.

so can we give him a couple of years first or do we have to proclaim him bust before a regular game is ever played?

He's got all the skills in the world but a brain the size of a pea. That doesn't get it done in the NFL......

Cowboys thought they got a steal with Bryant in the 2nd round but there was a reason he lasted so long. We heard about his problems but understand in discussions with the Pittsburgh coaching staff they played his problems down. If same coaching staff is in place at Pittsburgh, sure hope our scouting department adopts a very critical attitude if we interested in one of their players but he's got attitude problems.

Frankly, I'm hoping the get tough attitude the Commish has shown against NFL problem players will force college coaching staffs to focus early on how to stop their players from getting into trouble off the field. If these players (who interested in a pro football career) understand as soon as they get to college that any off field problems could drastically affect their draft situation, they might have 2nd thoughts about some of the things they might do. This is particularly the case if the Commish follows through on punishing teams for their draft picks if those draft picks already have significant off field problems. At the very minimum, a player could drop from being a first rounder to a late 2nd day pick or even an undrafted rookie just like that WR who ended up playing in Canada. Can't remember his name but think he was a projected first or 2nd rounder but among other things got caught using right before either the combine or the draft.

I hope the Commiish does start dropping the hammer on teams that draft those kinds of idiots. It would pretty much stop it happening, and some of the dummies might smarten up. BUT as long as the colleges let them get away with it it will still happen. This needs to be dealt with at the college level= but that is where it never will be.
