I am annoyed that the player we got for him is gonna be buried so far down the depth chart, he won't see any significant playing time. In essence, we got nothing for Bryant, but I have to say, I'm a BIG fan of Patrick Crayton

Still....it would have been nice to have Glenn, Key, Bryant & Crayton...Don't you think?

It would have been nice to have AB here if he could be trusted. He was a headcase and he would have been a distraction. As it happens, it is often the getting rid of the player that makes him the player we wanted him to be. It definitely sucks that Morgan can't do more for us. He was too worried about getting hit when he dropped that pass this past weekend. Parcells won't put up with that kind of stuff.

All AB would help us do is draft higher. He's a cancer.

I think it was getting anything out of AB that made us trade him as opposed to release him.

while i agree with sifill....I think that some people can't get over AB cause he was on the team and he had/has a lot of potential. Of course, that means nothing without production, I'm just happy that Crayton looks to be stepping it up as the number 3. Hope AB does great in Cleveland.

Building the best football team is not like choosing a fantasy football team. The team with the most individual talent may very well not be the best team. the Cowboys are a better team without him regardless of his talent.

Ha. Wait until next year when AB is a free agent. Then we'll really hear about how great he is.

Can you imagine the hissy fit AB would be having watching Crayton catch the ball the way he has been? By now he'd have thrown more than a jersey at Parcells.

Have you all ever had this crazy guy or girl at work that had such an attitude that it drove everyone at work crazy? And as soon as you dismissed that person, life is sooo much better?

Didn't matter if that person was great or not, they were so horrible to be around, you would go with anyone but that person? That person was Antonio Bryant. Now let it die please.

Yes we would have. Crayton was on the team when Bryant was traded as he was drafted last year. He would've still contributed at the end of last year like he did, and he would still be here in TC/preseason.

I think all the Parcells apologists need to stop acting like this wasn't a huge mistake. I bashed Parcells for some moves where it turned out he was right, like cutting Derek Ross, and trying to mkae the switch to the 3-4 which resulted in cutting my favorite player in Coakley, but it looks like that's going to work out. The Bryant/Morgan trade though, I wasn't wrong about. He's 3 times the player Morgan is and he's going to make a very good #2 WR in this league. Morgan would make a good #2 WR in NFL Europe.

there's no denying morgan couldn't wear bryant's jock. it's pretty simple really - we couldn't get jack bobo for bryant because no one was willing to give us much more than what we got.

this subject is pretty much "water under the bridge" and no amount of bickering is going to bring back bryant. let's count our blessings - crayton was able to make the most of the opportunity given to him, giving us a solid 3rd receiver.

I really wish that this subject would go away and never return. Some of us just don't know how to move on from the past. Life is so much more fun when you can look forward to the future.
