Anybody think Tiny could be a good fit as a future RT for us? Seems like his draft stock has taken a pretty big hit and we could most likely get him in the 3rd. He wouldn't have to start day 1 and make a smooth transition to starter his 2nd year in the league. I think as a RT his foot speed and length would be a major plus in pass protection and at 6'6 330 he's definitely the type of RT you can run behind.

I don't think he can play in the NFL because his weaknesses aren't coach-able. I've talked to an offensive line coach in the league who shares this opinion with me.

What are these weaknesses that can't be coached?

It's difficult to evaluate OTs because they are allowed to hold much more in college than what will be allowed in the NFL. If Richardson's college games were officiated by NFL rules, he would get called for holding 20 times per game.

If you take away his ability to hold, he would be giving up and lot of sacks.

In the run game, he is weight-room strong, but he doesn't generate much explosive power.
