He is our weakest link in the secondary. If I was an opponent I would go his way on any and all third downs. Since there is 0 chance he comes back after this season is there any chance that we see Scandrick and or Anthony Brown replace him?

I don't know what the coaches will do, but Anthony Brown looks promising. Mo has been our best CB, and if OScan comes back and looks good, I think Carr might see his playing time cut some. But you can never have enough CBs in today's NFL, although Carr giving that 10 yard cushion drives me nuts on third and 7 or 8.

Carr is gone as well as Mo (more $$ elsewhere) after this season, so Brown may be a starter next year.

Am I missing something? What has Carr done to be considered the "weakest link? This secondary as far as this year goes is fine and Carr is performing up to his contract if not greater. People are always so quick to replace someone. Carr has been fine this year. This whole secondary has. The defenisve line and linebackers? Those are the true weak links.

I wouldn't be so quick to assume Mo is gone. He's not getting 100 million lol. Or even Josh Norman. He's going to get a nice contract that the Cowboys should be able to give.

My preference. Leave Brown inside and Scandrick can share reps with Carr. Bring in any street FA is better than Carr.

Carr is a solid cb. Not a super star but solid
Gonna be interesting to see what we do when Oscan comes back but I don't think benching Carr is gonna be the outcome
I think bring Oscan back slowly makes a sence

Carr is not a bad player, he is a solid CB in this league...........problem is that we are paying him top 5 money like he is Norman

Carr is a free agent I believe at the end of the season, so he either take a big paycutt to remain in Dallas or he goes elsewhere. My guess is that this season will be his last wearing the star.

I hate to change the subject but I would trade two 1st round picks for Aaron Donald.

Then lets talk about replacing Carr. I don't think he warrants the pay his getting but he's not been doing too bad.

We need to keep in mind the one time the camera catches him being beat for a first down doesn't cancel out all the plays he wasn't on camera doing his job and forcing the qb to look elsewhere.

Nobody on the roster to replace him with. Hopefully they address that in the offseason

To be honest Carr has been our ONLY consistent cb through the years. We just end up over paying for him. But if I'm the Cowboys I'll resign him to a cheaper deal next year since MO is paying for that huge contract.
