If Garrett was so bad wouldn't the ranking be much worse?

Craig

I never said he was bad. I said he was middle of the pack.

Having a QB playing lights out covers up a lot of problems. Is Garrett bad? No. I think he has some good things going for him but I also think he has plenty of things to work on.

He's gone and Garrett will be the HC.
Unless we win the Super Bowl, Yeager is right. Even then my bet is Wade is gone.

Switzer won a Super Bowl. Was he a good coach?

He also won a NCAA Championship.I think Switzer was an ok coach, not great in any way though.

I don't think you can compare this team to the 90's team either.

Does Wade Stay After This Year?

Search feature, dude. Not only are there a couple of dozen threads on this, there's a large one on this page.

***ahh, I see the magical merge feature has been invoked. Never mind.

If Garrett were appointed head coach I would be of the opinion that he brings in an offensive coordinator.

Why would he do that when the offense is #3 in the league?

I think Garrett would still call the plays but I'm also of the opinion that he would bring in someone to help with the game planning.Whoever he would bring in would be given the coordinators title.

I'm also of the opinion that one of Garretts strong suits is organization. Those organizational skills to me are a plus because I think this team needs someone with good organizational skills.

Not a chance in HELL!!!

I'm wondering if Wade has a shot to get an extention no matter what, due to the amount of talented coaches waiting to be hired.

The three biggest names out there right now are Shannahan, Gruden, and Cowher...And I know at least two of them would LOVE to coach our team! (maybe not Cowher)

I know he isn't the most popular option according to a lot of people, but I've always liked Gruden, and he would be my first choice. I think Shannahan is an offensive genius, but I can't see him using the personel we have on pour O-Line to fit his zone blocking schemes. I really would love Wade to stay on board as a DC, but there's no way that will ever happen. Wade will be gone unless we AT LEAST win a playoff game, and maybe even that won't be enough.

I think Wade has to win at least 1 playoff game and be competitive in the playoff loss. If we get a win on Wildcard weekend, but then go to either New Orleans or Minnesota and just get smoked...............bye Wade.

But if we are competitive and just lose in the 4th quarter by a TD or something, Wade probably will be ok.

So win at least 1 playoff game and be competitive in the playoff loss.

Well...I think this question might already have been answered after losing at home to a team we should've beaten (again). Anytime you leave 10 points on the field, and the defense crumbles when we need a stop the most, fingers have to start pointing at the coach once more.

I for one don't blame Wade for this loss at all...But SOMEONE needs to take the blame. Afterall, nobody can blame Romo for these last two games...he's been phenomenal! Garrett and Wade are officially on the hot seat.

Well I think we are fixing to find out what happens to Wade's extension since our season is now over.
