After one of the greatest regular season wins in franchise history, any chance we go to Fed Ex and just lay an egg???

If Philly beats the Broncos at the Linc, which looks like a strong possiblity after Denver lost at home to the freaking Raiders, then the division is on the line. If we lose to the Skins and the Eagles beat the Broncos, Philly wins the division title.

I just cant see us losing to the lowly Skins after beating the Saints.

I'm sure the Skins will be jacked up and that the game will be a dogfight, but after the Cowboys went into the Superdome and punched the Saints in the mouth...who can argue with what this team is capable of of?

The Commanders were a field goal from beating the Saints. It will be a very tough game. With the intensity of last week they can win the Superbowl. This was a different team Saturday night.

One more win and in the tournament. The playoff starts this week, they cannot let it go to the last week again against Eagles.

there's a very good chance of Dallas laying an egg next sunday, Washington is no pushover. Dallas should of lost to them a month ago, barely beating them because there kicker couldn't put the game away..... Washington will view this game a their superbowl, it will be a slugfest, Dallas better carry the same intensity over to this game, or they could get blown out, the skins have been playing very competitive football lately, remember the skins took the saints to overtime...

If the Giants win fairly convincingly tonight, I think the Commanders may roll over for us next weekend. The entire week is probably going to be a big distraction for them, as national media are gonna be all over the coaching situation. It's also a short week for them.

IT was a great win against the Saints and this team has been showing that unlike last year, they do have a " heart ".

Now, that doesn't mean they're a lock for anything. What this team has not shown yet is they can win under extremely tough conditions. Yes, beating the Saints was huge, GIANTICALLY huge, but let's see how/if they adapt to outdoor weather against a team that will absolutely be salivating at the chance to knock their socks off and historically has done exactly that at times.

I don't want to take away anything from the IMMENSE win on Saturday, but I've seen the Saints get up for games ( Patriots, Giants ) but for whatever reasons, they weren't up for this one. Now, they should have respected the Cowboys more ( I still can't get over Michael Irvin and Ed Werder humilliating the Cowboys with the " Bree's smirk " comments ), but they didn't, so they paid for it.

The Deadskins are not going to be making the same mistake.

I think most of us knew what this team is capable of, but it's about doing it every week not this week and then flame out. If that happens then who cares if we beat the Saints or not.

We'll have 8 days in between games, they'll have 6. I'm feeling confident.

My first thought was: an unusually dumb post by Mr Bair. After thinking about it, the rivally isn't what it used to be pre-free-agency. These two teams used to absolutely hate each other; now it's just business.

You may be right, there are a lot of distractions going on in Danny-world.

This game will be the Skins Super Bowl. They won't let down, and they're going to throw everything including the kitchen sink at us.

Notice how Romo had trouble once the Saints started to blitz? I expect the Skins to blitz on every single down.

It's up to us to make them pay for it.

It was a great victory but there is always a chance that the Cowboys lay an egg.

Regardless, the Cowboys don't have to lay an egg because the Commanders have been playing very hard.

The Skins have been statistically out of Playoff Contention for quite sometime, still playing hard and it is doubtful they will letup against the Cowboys, especially since the game is going to be very important to the Cowboys.

However, I believe if the Cowboys jump on them early, they may lay down.

The first meeting was one of the toughest wins of season. That final drive in 4th was classic. Throw out records. This one will be as big as Saints.

No.. I see them not making the same foolish mistakes in the past..

Picking the Coyote over Roadrunner again... ;)

After getting the big win against the Giants they totally melted down last year. Not saying that this will happen again, but I wouldn't be too surprised to here some comments like "we can still make with a win next week" after that game.

A few timeouts and 30 seconds more on the clock, and the saints would have tied it and probably won. Enjoy your win, but your team with "heart" was in full choke mode. Be thankful Jammal Brown wasn't out there instead of Bushrod.

The saints will be one and done. Your defense sucks.

30 more seconds would not have mattered, Ware just put Brees on his arse AGAIN and we recovered the fumble. I dont call that choking, what I do call choking is blowing a perfect season like yall just did. Dam, thats got to hurt.

Also, Ware would blown past Jammal Brown just as well, Ware was beasting and was simply unblockable.

P.S. Injuries are put of the game, you dont see use crying about losing our stud RT Marc Columbo do you??? Losers cry about injuries and winners man up and play with what they got.

I would hope not but it is football so there is always a chance of getting beat. My hope like many others is the Saints game will act as a spring board for this team to get hot at the right time of the year.

I agree but plenty of people claimed injuries were the reason for our failures this time last year.
