I think Gurode called and apologized to him.

LOL! Actually I think he called to thank Big Albert for the under the table settlement paid out to Gurode for not taking Al to court or pressing charges that would have led to some serious you know what hitting the fan. Nonetheless, Gurode got taken care of very nicely in that transaction, it went away so emotionless too easy. Gurode seemed too satisfied for a guy who got his temple scraped off by another players cleats.

Yeah I doubt it.
Hold on to your hats, Rashad Johnson Alabama Safety has been titled little Ed with a big stick. He should be available at #51 and he has an attitude like Tachard Choice.

I want solid players, guys who won't whine and complain about their role or about how often they get the ball, just players. No thugs, no primadonnas, no egos, no project players, no converted baseball players, no wimps, and no big mouths. Just shut up and play the game and enjoy your paycheck that is a heck of a lot more than you would ever get in a job outside of football.

it's atleast one of those on every team...thats not gonna happen...maybe not having so many is a realistic wish....

I agree...no stars needed.

However, I'd look for a veteran who can be a solid backup at C/OG, ILB, SS, QB, maybe even OT unless we think McQ or Free are ready to play there.

I think those are our biggest needs, and I prefer signing someone, even an average 2nd or 3rd tier guy in free agency, before the draft so we can draft BPA.

Minor tweaks in personel, coaching, etc this year. Then if it doesn't all come together as in our 13-3 season with a playoff win, scrap the staff and unload some of the so-called stars.

Trust me, unless you offerred Haynesworth stock in the franchise, a player of his caliber would never sign with a 3-4 team. Why would a dominant 4-3 tackle volunteer to become a space-eater on a 3-4 team? Never happen, imo.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned QB. A good backup QB who is ready to go from Day One is something close to a must have and would be very difficult to find in the draft.
