Any early SB favorites for next season?

I'm fully on board and agree that the Eagles had a fantastic team last season. I stated in many occasions that along with Baltimore they were the best teams in the NFL although the latter bottled it against the Bills.

It's just my view that next season the Rams will turn the tables as I see them improving and the Eagles a little weaker although still more than enough to win the NFC East!
Well, yes, of the 13 teams that made the playoffs last season, besides the Eagles, Philly plays 10 of them, one of them twice, this season. Monstrous schedule. But every team in the NFCE has a comparatively difficult schedule. They’ll likely repeat as division champs.

Vegas odds, which, yes, are set to encourage action, has the Eagles big favorites to win the NFC. Rams have the fifth best odds. They are not good, enough.

Wow, one of the best threads I've ever started and not because of me. I really feel I've learned a lot from you guys about some of the other teams. Maybe I've been overlooking the Eagles. And the Rams weren't even on my radar TBH. I still think the Chiefs have a lot to prove for me to take them more serious, but I do agree that no league has a more proven track record. Thanks everybody for sharing!!

Eagles core is strong . Still say the Eagles. 11 of 12 starters on offesne returning. Maybe the trade Dallas Goedert ?? That's where their money is, on offense. Defense is young , has some core players at all levels, but lost CJGJ, Slay, Sweat, Graham, Williams. Howie has 20 draft picks in the next 2 years though. My feeling , it comes down to the draft this year to see if they will compete for another Superbowl this year. If not this year, they will retool like 2022, 2024. Anything less than a NFC championship with the roster as is , is a disappointment. The culture of winning goes a long way as well for continued success. Sirriani, believe it or not, is a good coach. If you think differently , just check his record the last 4 years.

Jerry will be shocked again if they aren’t in the SB this season after all the first and second round talent he added
Jerry still trying the banana in the tail pipe gag. Our fan base has finally had enough.

Yep way too early for this conversation, but so far I’m leaning Ravens and Commodes. I don’t see the Eagles repeating, their depth isn’t as good and they are finally having to pay up on some salary cap stuff. The Chiefs got exposed and don’t see them rebounding. Bills maybe? yet somehow I never take them seriously. Lions might surprise but given their coaching staff raid, I’m not feeling it with them just yet. Don’t feel the Packers or Vikings either. Seattle? Please…

I pick the Commodes only because they got close and are still ahead of the salary cap woes with a good QB on a rookie contract.

But honestly, it feels like the Ravens year. With the Chiefs curse over the NFL finally done with, it’s time for another AFC powerhouse to emerge. This could be their year.

Do you have any vibes for teams this season?

P.S. - no thoughts on the Cowboys right now. Too many question marks and holes to fill right now.
You can't leave the birds way loaded team. I don't know who they lost. Not predicting a repeat you just can't leave them out

Lions or Eagles in the NFC vs. Bills or Ravens in the AFC.

Fair points but let's revist those Vegas odds come December!

Anyone writing off the Eagles is a Homer. That team only reloads and can change on a dime when something isn’t working. Players, Coaches, QBs, Draft Picks, Free Agents. They just do it all right and no surprise they’ve been to so many Super Bowls these last few years. Wish we had the same GM and President.

Bengals scored 17 pts against the eagles last year. We stopped them
I think that was the game the Bengals turned the ball over 3 times in the red zone, twice at the 1 yard line. And of their own doing. It had nothing to do with the Eagles stopping them. Bengals hurt themselves.

It is monumentally stupid that Buffalo and Baltimore aren't doing everything possible to supercharge their defenses-- especially Buffalo.

They should be calling the Browns daily for Garrett. Calling the Cowboys daily for Parsons. Both teams are literally that close to a ring.
But the Ravens signed Cooper Rush. Lamar best be concerned.

Buffalo vs Washington with Josh Allen getting the monkey off his back and winning.

Is that you Jerry?

I find myself waffling as to whether it’s delusion or he really believes the crap he spews.

Probably both, as evidenced by overrating/misevaluating many players and many situations. This team loses more games in March and April than many others.

This NFC East hasn’t had a team win the division in back-to-back years in 20 years, but the Eagles are gonna win the Super Bowl in back-to-back years?…

(Insert Seinfeld “Yeah, I don’t see that happening” gif here)
