Any early SB favorites for next season?

I think that was the game the Bengals turned the ball over 3 times in the red zone, twice at the 1 yard line. And of their own doing. It had nothing to do with the Eagles stopping them. Bengals hurt themselves.
I looked up the game log. You are thinking of a different game.

I'll go Bills and Lions. Allen is too good not to eventually break though, and I doubt Detroit has the same terrible injury luck two years in a row.

You hope a divisional rival gets to the Super Bowl?
It's something I dread. It's embarrassing when a Div. rival gets to the SB. But maybe that's a good thing now. Maybe that will wake up our insipid GM. Nothing hits home harder than your immediate opponents defeating you.

I think the Eagles in the NFC so long as Barkley is healthy with Detroit as a close second; think the Commanders are a dark horse.
In the AFC I have to stay with the Chiefs, I think they just came out flat in the Super Bowl; they are too well-coached to get exposed in my opinion, it was just the Eagles year. With that said, I think the Bills, Ravens, Bengals are in the hunt, with the Texans as a dark horse.
Contrary to what Jerry believes, I think Dallas does not have the talent or the coaching to get to the playoffs this year. Dak is 31 years-old and I think I read somewhere that he has missed 26 games in the past three-years with injuries…so I am not looking him to be the difference maker Dallas is paying him to be.

My favorite comments are when the not so hidden Eagles fans say things like "I hate to say it but I think it's the Eagles" and then go on to tell us how many draft picks they have and so on and so on...

The giants winning two didn’t wake him. The Steelers passing him didn’t wake him. The Eagles winning two didn’t wake him. Jerry doesn’t care.

The Iggles have been brilliant in letting key Vets go and replacing them with young guys from their draft. I will not discount them, as long as they stay healthy. Not sure the Commodes are ready yet, and a healthy Lions team with some tweaks should be headliners

Yep way too early for this conversation, but so far I’m leaning Ravens and Commodes. I don’t see the Eagles repeating, their depth isn’t as good and they are finally having to pay up on some salary cap stuff. The Chiefs got exposed and don’t see them rebounding. Bills maybe? yet somehow I never take them seriously. Lions might surprise but given their coaching staff raid, I’m not feeling it with them just yet. Don’t feel the Packers or Vikings either. Seattle? Please…

I pick the Commodes only because they got close and are still ahead of the salary cap woes with a good QB on a rookie contract.

But honestly, it feels like the Ravens year. With the Chiefs curse over the NFL finally done with, it’s time for another AFC powerhouse to emerge. This could be their year.

Do you have any vibes for teams this season?

P.S. - no thoughts on the Cowboys right now. Too many question marks and holes to fill right now.
Please don't mention Cowboys and SB in the same sentence, lol
Waiting for Jerry to start the sunshine pumping after the draft.....
Regular as the sun rising every morning....

What out for the Lions. They get a lot of guys on defense back from injury and they should be better for it.

I honestly believed that the Chiefs would be the first team to threepeat and felt that way all last season. But wow did they get exposed. You could be right, but it would take a lot to convince me of that right now.
because they lost a single game? yes it was igly, so was their loss to the bucs. they’ve got the biggest x factor in the league still and one of the best hc’s and front offices.

I wouldn't undersell the Rams, I think they are right there with the Lions and just behind the Eagles.
