Any Given Sunday..

Never say die!!!

And the jinx factor...

You won't hear me speaking negative about the team or a player leading up to the game but you will hear nitpick and point out flaws after a game, win or lose. This week we have our biggest challenge to date and all my energy is being focused in a positive light, whether that helps the team or not, that's my prerogative. Anything for the Win!!!

It drives me insane to see fans joke about specific players getting injured (Reverse The Hex forming in your mind.) Yes there are players that may or may not be 100% this week and that may affect our chances but right now I just don't want to talk about it. Most fans consider it hating after the fact, I consider it a jinx prior to the fact. As of right now everybody has a clean slate, past performances have only lead us to This point in time, consider it part of the process to victory. Win Win Win!!! And Never Say Die!!! Go Cowboys!!!:starspin:

Just Win Baby.....

Play our brand of football and I would not count us out of any matchup

Personally I think it is more than any given Sunday. For me I see a very good OL who I think can ball with the best of them. A strong RB, a top QB with some legit weapons in Dez, Williams, Beasley, Harris and Witten. These guys have shown they can make plays when the ball comes their way and the OL clearly has shown they can open holes and protect. Having said that Dallas can't afford to be sloppy with the ball. You can get way with a fumble or int in some game but not this one.

I don't think this qualifies for the "any given Sunday" moniker.

I wouldn't be shocked at all if Dallas wins. I'd be excited if they did, but this isn't Mount Everest they're staring at here. The Cowboys are one of the few teams built to have a decent chance up there because they're physical like Seattle.

I'd be surprised only if one team blows the other out, especially if Dallas dominated Seattle. I'd bet bettors are loading up on that eight points.

Well, here's hoping!
I think it's going to be very difficult. In fact, I think we get beat soundly. That place is a brutal place to play.

But, if we get spanked in this game, I won't be overly negative. If Dallas didn't make a huge comeback against St Louis and if they didnt gut-out a win against Houston, then this loss (if they lose) would sting more.

Now, my feelings may change, but this is what I anticipate feeling if Dallas does lose this weekend:
Okay, we got beat in the toughest stadium to play a game. We aren't yet on the level of the champs. Games that we would often lose, we found a way to get a W this year...that gave us a little wiggle room. Lets get ready for those NYG.

I just hope none of our main players get hurt and we play a competitive game.

I just want to see them compete until the final whistle. I think dallas is completely outclassed personnel wise. If dallas is still in the game in the fourth quarter, That's a positive. Seattle doesn't lose up there.

I'd give us a 35%-40% chance of winning this week, and that's entirely dependent upon winning the TO differential by at least 2 turnovers.

I personally don't think that we should place too much emphasis on this game, it would be nice if they pulled it off, but the next game vs. the Giants is much more important IMO.

Are fans on this forum joking about players getting injured?
