Much higher. I've seen enough of the league after 4 weeks to conclude just about where each team is. Seattle is good. But we will score points.
We'll see. I'd say it's about even money on a neutral field, or in Dallas, for that matter.
Thing is...17 out of 18 over three years, and a team that wins 7 games for every 1 under Carroll where they win the TO differential...that's a tall order.
But then, I don't think a 35-40% chance is really anything to sneeze at, either. I basically think we need to play a great game of ball control on offense and still manage to take the ball away from them a time or two when we're on defense. To beat the Superbowl champ in their home stadium and go to 5-1 on the season. That's a tall order, but it's not outside the realm of the possible.
Max Unger is now doubtful.
Well, that would help. I still think it's a tall order for us to beat the Champs up there in their place. I'd obviously love it, though. If we do, and we handle the Giants the coming week, that's pretty much all the indication you need that we're a legitimate NFC contender, out of nowhere.
Denver looked like doodoo and took them to OT. They aren't this invincible team everyone thinks they are.
You're dispayibg exactly what they attempt to impart on opponents in game - fear. You've already lost before you take the field with that attitude. Like Green Bay refusing to run the ball OR throw it to the right side of the field.
Heh. We're both hard-headed, casmith, and I don't want to really get into it with you on a topic where I'm arguing against my Cowboys, so I'll stop it here. But the reasons I don't think we're likely to win (and again, I've given us a legitimate chance this week and do not think it's impossible at all) have *nothing* to do with being afraid of them. I'm simply realistic enough to know that they're a better roster than ours, all around. They're playing at home, which happens to be the biggest such advantage in SEA for any team in the NFL, and they're a team that absolutely kills you when you turnover the ball more than they do. And our team has demonstrated that they will turnover the ball--including our running game that we're all so excited about.
I sure hope--if and when we return to being a dominant team here in the next few years, knock on @Wood --I don't end up on the opposite side of the emotional fans again, because it's going to stink if I just never get any payoff for not being willing to lose my capacity for reasonable thought. It would be nice for a little while to be on the same side as most of our posters, and not watching them sea-saw from one extreme to the other.
You'll never sell me that their offensive roster is better than ours. I'll give you defense.
And yeah, it's fear bro. Unless you're willing to say you just don't think we're good, which again, after four weeks I thibk we're good enough to win.

Man I can't wait for this game to be over. You guys act as if they're unbeatable lol.
It is a game of inches!
