Any impressions regarding Travis Bright?

I live in AZ, and my son goes to the same school where Travis Bright's mom is a teacher. That's how I first heard anbout him, when my son (who is also a HUGE Cowboy's fan) was told by Bright's mom that he was signed to the team as a UFA. Since then, my son and I payed close attention to him during preseason games, and were very much impressed with his play. He never let his man beat him on any plays we watched, and he also did a good job pulling and opening up holes for the run game. Needles to say, I wasn't surprised when Bright was added to the P.S., nor when I heard the coaches giving him glowing reviews.

I believe he will have a legitament shot of making the roster this season, and I think he will do wonders for us if given a shot. I'll certainly continue to keep pulling for him!

Hope he does something but realistically, it seems very few BYU players who come into the league in their mid 20's ever do much.

Yes, I understand, however as he's an OL, he probably can play at a relatively older age than a "skill" position.

Why are they all so old when they come into the league? I understand that most will have done a 2 year mission ... but it seems most come into the league at 25 or so.
