Any living soul believe Dak is a good QB after that dump?

Yes, they still exist. One of his staunchest supporters is online at this very moment bashing the non believers.
Some people lose focus on what is important, the team, and latch on to a player. Then they elevate that player to deity status. That's why you'll see a lot of seemingly unrealistic support. Like blind faith with statistics. But at this point it's bordering on Stockholm syndrome.

Good enough to be a journeyman backup -- sure. Good enough to start for an NFL team -- nope. Look at it this way. If we cut him tomorrow, or if we had cut him in the offseason, would any other team have signed him as their starter? I don't think so ... at least not unless some other team is as stupid as this one. He probably could have gotten signed as some team's backup, at least he could have in the offseason.
I wonder if Dak likes Canada -- because I can see him in the CFL.

Agree.

Same thing w/ players from our past that fans have tended to deify.

He'd have been signed for around 10-25 mil/season by someone.

Of course. Anytime you look back at something good, don't most people tend to make it out to be better than it was? Moments in life, cars, fish stories, and the like. I think that's par for the course. It's when you are unrealistic about the present that I believe to be unhealthy.

Sorry, but who's gonna take on that salary for a guy that has proven he can't win the big games?
Unless Jerry can find someone dumb enough to do a sign and trade, Dak is untradeable. And then you'd have to convince Dak to take less.

Lately it's been the deifying of LT.

I think it’s safe to say dak now knows not many people believe in him
Nah he couldn't care less and don't buy into that good boy image he sells to compensate for his talent limitations at QB.
That smile was all the pressure draining out of him knowing the GIG is UP!!!!
Enjoy spending Jerry's money Dakko you did well on the money end of the deal.

Most fans want and root for Dak to play well for reasons that should be obvious, they also can say "Man Dak stunk the place up last night" because it was obvious... the extremes are who muddy the waters "Hate Dak/ Love Dak because it makes me look right" is just dumb. If your a Cowboys fans there are several things your pissed about right now...

1: The defense that was suppose to be the strength of this team got severly undressed by the niners from every coach to every player..not good
2: The QB/HC dont seem to be on the same page OR have any gear to move up to when they are needed to carry the load.. also not good

Dak needs to up his game or get gone, but man he is not alone in this because there was guttless all over the field Sunday night..Including both our leaders on the field and both the coordinators got fleeced.

Oddly enough, his cult of supporters on twitter (Helman, Lombardi, Ickes, Livesay, No C, the whole BTB crew, etc) still believe in him

They have to be trolling at this point. My biggest guess is they know “anti-dak= less engagement” from the homers
They are probably paid employees of Todd France.
Prescott might suck as a NFL QB but when it comes to PR there is no other baby!!!
