Now that we've nabbed Parrish, just wondering if the veteran running back role will be filled. I guess at this point we're waiting until early next week at the earliest?

I read on one site, and I'm sorry I don't remember which one, that they only brought him in to see where he was conditioning-wise. Since Green has been cut, they only have 2 real RBs on the active roster (I don't count Polite). If one of them gets hurt, they will need a quick replacement. BP plans for every contingency. I think Smith was just a "make sure we know who we can call" kind of thing.

Of course, Smith has been to the superbowl, so BP might be looking for another vet with that kind of experience for the playoffs.

I think we will put D ware in at RB after how he chased tiki down last game.
