I thought he would have been signed to an offer sheet by now or better still, signed by us.

The deadline to sign RFAs isn't until April 18th, why would he sign so quick? You do know who his agent is, right?

We did. That doesn't mean he can't be signed to an offer sheet.

Right right, I was confused.

Teams can take their time here.

Sure, Barber is a pro-bowler. But he never has carried the load...even in college. He would probably come cheaper than a top pick in the draft, but giving up a first and third is a high price.

Teams also have to feel they have enough evaluating done on the available RBs in the draft and weigh their potential against what Barber would bring.

I just don't see a team parting with two picks for Barber. He'll be a Cowboy next year.

ANd Micheal Turner signed a 6 year 36 mil contract and has never ran for more than 400 yards in a season. let alone score 10 Tds in a season in which Barber has did 2 times in a row right now......If Turner can get 36 mil barber can get 40 easy...........

Oh my bad he did run for 502 yards in 2006.........

Just curious: Is Barberian the Canadian/Brit spelling?

Again, no one had to give up two premium picks for Turner.

Like I said...teams can take their time if they want Barber.

It is when it is a play on the name "Barber"

Why can't you people up in Canada spell things right? Is it that damn cold that your brain freezes and you cannot spell, much less do anything else that the great US of A does?

From what I've seen, teams don't typically make plays for tendered RFAs until later in free agency. That way usually the team that gave the tender has spent its free agent bucks and can't afford to match.

I don't expect any team to go after Barber, but we should get an indication once Dallas makes whatever moves it's going to in free agency.

Wow. I live in the states and found that very insensitive and just flat out rude.

What's your beef with Canada? Oh yeah that's right they invaded Hawaii 65 years ago. What's that? Oh it was Japan? Then what is the reasoning behind your smart *** remark?
