Any of these offenses better than ours?

With this Oline, Williams at RB, Lamb and GP, Dak leading them; anyone else in the playoffs better than that? maybe Eagles regarding personnel, but Hurts is purely a bus driver. If somehow we can fix this defense we could contend in the playoffs.....IF we can work around our idiot GM/owner.....never mind.
The 49ers were missing their top pass rusher and top LB but they had a real NFL D-Coordinator...

It's crazy how overrated Hurts is at QB. Basically a power back at QB lol Imagine how much better that offense would look even if Dak was their QB.
Hurts is not highly regarded at all. He wins because he works for an organization that recognizes the other 52 players are important, too. Dak Prescott is a much better quarterback than Hurts, is paid more than any NFL player has ever been paid, he does not win because he works for a dog ****, organization.

Yeah, the guy who gas been to 2 SBs in 3 years and won 1 and was SB MVP is a bus driver, meanwhile the guy who hasnt even led his team to back to back playoff wins is elite

Give it a rest
We were 7-8-1

And how many points did the Eagles score in those Superbowls?

People do realise that the Cowboys wouldn't be playing Washington or the Giants in the play offs?

No, they're not. Which shows you exactly what's important in the playoffs. I'm 61, and good/great O's almost always lose in the playoffs. Very few exceptions.

Eagles are really close. Their defense is what got them over the hump last year against the Chiefs. They might not have a "top" O but it's very good.
Not this year. Their O has been pretty bad this season.

The teams that won this weekend have a much better front office and better coaches.

We have Jerry. No offense, defense or HC we’ve had the last 30 years has been able to overcome Jerry. He’s the biggest roadblock to winning playoff games.
Hey, did you see who was making plays beating up the Chargers? That would be one Milton Williams, yet another player we were begging Jerry for.

Also - for everyone thinking our offense was just as good as those this weekend… Our offense was not that great the last 4 games of the season when we needed it most.

In the second half of each of our last 4 games, we scored 9, 0, 6 and 7 points respectively. I think defenses started figuring out how to stop us. So down the stretch our offense wasn’t that great.

The Cowboys offense usually doesn’t carry over into the postseason where better defenses are.
All the fans that love offense never mention this point.
All our top 5 offenses over the past 6-7 years, that made the playoffs, scored almost 2 TD’s less in the playoffs.

In the history of the NFL great defense’s almost always control great offenses!

I don’t understand why more GM’s and owners do not understand this. History smacks them right in the face. Just a couple of many examples: Tom Brady with Randy Moss were undefeated and set a record for points. They faced a good, not great Giants defense, that had a dominant pass rush. The great offense went down hard. Payton Manning and his top scoring Denver offense got dominated by Seattle’s Legion of Boom!

Give me a top defense every time over a top offense!

Watch Denver, New England and Seattle this year! Top defense’s show up consistently. Top offense’s not so much.

Just rewatch how many times are supposed top offense didn’t show up.

Let me ask a hypothetical here…If it’s 4th qtr in a playoff game and your team is down 4 and must have a TD…

Would any of us have more faith in Brian Schottenheimer calling the game winning drive or would you rather have Kyle Shanahan or Sean McVey?

I have nothing against Schotty, he’s just not a top shelf head coach. We are trying to win with a HC no other team even had on its radar. We are trying to get back to playoff glory with an 83 year old GM who was 53 the last time his team won even a divisional playoff game.

I hate this but I have come to accept that my favorite football team is not serious about winning. They just aren’t.

We all know what this offense looks like under extreme amounts of pressure in game breaking circumstances. And winning playoff games ain't it.

Dak throwing the ball into tight windows over twenty times a game with no mistakes. Key third down conversions multiple times per game against a top defense on the road. Coaching adjustments after halftime to prevent getting shut down in the second half. And to do it three weeks in a row.

No way in hell. Keep dreaming.

All of them. Our offense was pedestrian down the stretch.
