Any reports of pass rushing capability?

To the OP, it looks like EXRockU is coming along quite nicely. I read that he has been relentless in practice. He would have sacked Stafford on the first play in the scrimmage.
Gary is primarily a run stopping DE IMO. Yes he can generate some pressures and sacks too, but I wouldn't expect him to light up the stat sheets. This defense is built to stop the run first and foremost. He will excel at his job.
Sam W, Lawrence and Liufau are all working as back ups. All have potential to be decent rushers. IMO Williams is the guy who needs to step it up the most. This is probably his last shot.
I think Lawrence will be surprising a lot of people when the lights come on. He has all the tools and is going to be given a chance, primarily on passing downs.
Can Houston, Wheat and/or Land make the team? I really don't know. Although, Wheat might be a core special teamer.

We can’t expect Malachi to give us much this year. And EZE is still undersized. We need to add a bonafide edge rusher. Just my two cents.

CP merely saving his real scheme for when the games count because of the high probability of it being spied and duplicated.

Game 1 is when he unleashes the Hounds of the Baskervilles and NFL History is made
No need to in game 1.

Late first rounder and was known he was going to be a project. He has all the tools tho. I think we expect too much from rookies in their first year. The game is hard and development is a real thing. I feel he will be alright and this year we will see it in glimpses.
He will be a good run defender day 1.

Better depth for a good OT or two could bring highly useful prospects to better the Dallas O-line.

The Cowboys are at least a year behind in their best opportunity for Super Bowl candidacy, imo.

I expect nothing from Lawrence this year. Maybe next.
Yeah, this is why I was wanting Bain and then Thieneman instead of what we did. I really like downs, but I had more faith that Bain would be an effective starter than Lawrence….and imo, pass rush is more influential than safety play. I hope I’m wrong and EZ (who got bigger) picks up his play along with Gary, and maybe even Barham gets to rush…and it all works out.

I think when you have the worst defense in the league you can’t take a project in the first round.

I’m hoping he makes it.
True but I think they believed in this coaching staff. We aren't even done with training camp yet. The light might turn on once the season comes or middle of season or next year. We just don't know. He hasn't flashed yet in camp but I also haven't heard anything negative come out about his learning process. We will probably get a heavy dose of him in these preseason games so we will know and see more of what he might have. Hoping for the best.

I read somewhere he got past 250lbs…..can’t remember where. Should be decent for an OLB.
