Any trade b4 trade deadline?

Just wondering since it's a bye week, is their anyone we need since the trade deadline is like 13 days away.

Maybe we can try to pry Shaun Rogers away from Cleve. and moved Ratliff to DE on 1st & 2nd down and back to DT on 3rd downs....

I bet we could trade them all for 3rd round picks. We could RULE the 3rd round next year. Just imagine, 9 picks in the third round alone. We could trade those 9 picks in exchange for 3 or 4 second rounders, imagine that!

I think we could use some serious depth in the OL. If we could pick up a FS, I would be delirioius. A quality backup Center would be great. I don't think that there is any way we find a LT, OLB that can rush the QB or a deep threat WR. JMO

Ratliff having a great year but nobody else is. Hey guys lets keep this no pass rushing defense the same because Ratliff is having a great year. Putting Ratliff at DE with a big body DT that command Double teams, Ratliff would be that much better....

Ratliff looks, to me, a little bigger this year. The smaller NT may become the standard... really hard to find someone like Vince Wilfork who can be athletic at 400lbs.

The Rams are horrible and they should really start their firesale now. If they make OJ Atogwe available (he's a free agent at the end of the year) and aren't demanding a king's ransom, I'd be all over that.

Shaun Rogers is not a true 3-4 NT. In college at Texas Casey Hampton played the nose tackle while Rogers played the other DT spot in the Longhorns 4-3. Rogers, while a large man really doesn't play like the other run stuffing nose tackles that you see in the NFL. Rogers is more a 3-4 DE than a 3-4 NT.

I agree, if there were an obvious upgrade we could get at FS, that'd probably be the one position we could get and have a major upgrade at, while seeing results asap.

That said, Phillips loves Hamlin, so it will never happen.

Hmm..what do you think is value is? I wanted Atogwe last year. I just think it would be difficult for him to come in and pick up the scheme.
