I agree, if there were an obvious upgrade we could get at FS, that'd probably be the one position we could get and have a major upgrade at, while seeing results asap.

That said, Phillips loves Hamlin, so it will never happen.

Why!!!?????

Hmm..what do you think is value is? I wanted Atogwe last year. I just think it would be difficult for him to come in and pick up the scheme.

I can give him the Ken Hamlin playbook right now.

Stand here... let these guys go right past you.. if they catch it, point at a cornerback. Done.

lol

I'd send them Watkins and a 3rd for Mr.Atogwe.

I'd pay money to see Ken's face when he hears the news.

and dont forget his stunning ability vs the run:

"stand in lane, see RB come at you, fall over backward after minimal contact"

I'm actually wondering if Alan Ball wouldnt be a better option at FS than Hamlin, especially on the passing downs. The guys nowhere near Hamlin's size, but he plays far more physical than Hamlin does and he runs better in space.

You'd think after 6 straight games(dating back to last year) of watching game film he would be embarrassed or be evaluated. I'm not even a scout and I could tell that he sucks just by watching on live TV. It's baffling that he's still a starting FS in this league.

Something needs to be done about this FS position. Either via trade or putting Ball there.

Just wondering since it's a bye week, is their anyone we need since the trade deadline is like 13 days away.

Maybe we can try to pry Shaun Rogers away from Cleve. and moved Ratliff to DE on 1st & 2nd down and back to DT on 3rd downs....

the trade deadline is in 7 days i believe not 13 days away;

Read this years draft is expected to be very deep with juniors coming out early due to CBA expiring and future rookie cap. For god sakes dont trade away picks, if at all possible acquire them.

Very true. I don't think we are in a position to trade away players though. It's a long season and we could somehow some way find a way to pull through.

If the Rams are looking to move Atogwe and the price isn't too high, I'd be interested though. Our Free Safety play is atrocious and he would be an immediate upgrade over Ken "the playskool hammer" Hamlin.

Didnt you hear, we suck and its time to firesale the team. We gotta get rid of Ware, Barber, Romo, Adams, Gurode, Spears, James and Folk.

I bet we could trade them all for 3rd round picks. We could RULE the 3rd round next year. Just imagine, 9 picks in the third round alone. We could trade those 9 picks in exchange for 3 or 4 second rounders, imagine that!

Dude shut up already, the only reason why you see stupid people is because you're looking into a mirror thats looking into another mirror. It's just you, over and over again.....

Michael Huff HAS to be available right!?

He's the only one doing anything on that defense. He actually makes plays.

Absolutely on the nosey. I'm sick of "fair catch" Crayton back there. :bang2:

Actually, Allen Rossum is available now...with no need for a trade.

He may be past his prime...but at least he won't fair catch it 9 times out of 10.

He has some instincts for the position it seems, he was making good hits duing TC and preseason too. I'd like to see more as well. I know we're not gonna get anything from K Hamlin, would like to see what someone else could do. I dont know how much more coaches have to see of him before he's rides the pine.
