Has the abuser been cut yet?
It’s just a smart move and one bellicheck has been doing for yearsThis. Development squad. Reserve bench.
Guys on IR effectively expand the number of players we can keep the rights to.
I assumed there is a limit of yearsThats actually a very good question, and im not sure if the IPP has term limits.
Its an interesting question, and maybe someone more knowledgeable knows that answer.I assumed there is a limit of years
Don’t know for sure but seems logical you couldn’t tie a guy up forever
What do missed out mean?Has there been any latest update on 2nd year swing OT Josh Ball ?
I've been hearing 2nd year Josh Ball missed out on all of this recent 2022 rookie camp.
But no injury report or reason was given as why he was out.
For such a raw green inexperience player who got hurt early in last year's training camp, missed preseason and all of last year's regular season with that high ankle sprain, it is key for him to get
as much camp rep in as possible to catch up.
He was activated for practice before the end of the season. The problem with that is they lose out on an entire year of practice.
There seems to be something going on with Josh Ball that isn't being divulged for whatever reasons. Maybe something will be forthcoming in the days to come. It seems a bit strange that we haven't been informed of his situation, though. Most of us hoped he'd, at least, be a backup, if nothing else.
I'm certain many of us are fairly puzzled by this. I know I am . . . let's see if the media has an explanation.
Alarcon is exempt again this year.I assumed there is a limit of years
Don’t know for sure but seems logical you couldn’t tie a guy up forever
Why would there be any news on Josh Ball?not a peep ...
That is why teams get multiple year exemptions for International players. It gives teams an incentive to develop them.Dude was green as spring grass. It will take some seasoning to get him to the point of challenging for the 53.
He was on IR in 2021.This is a legitimate question.
How far down the roster can you go after being a 4th round pick and not playing a single down your entire rookie season?
Does this technically make this season his rookie year? In any case, how could you not want to size him up alongside your new rookies? Invite Alarcon but not Ball?
it would seem to me that Ball is the exact type of non-rookie you would want to invite to the minicamp.
There were not any draft picks from previous years at this year's Rookie mini camp.I doubt it's a case of not being invited with Ball. He had a 2nd round grade by the Cowboys staff at draft time.
So that alone shows what they thought of him as a pure prospect.
- I myself was inquiring about Ball's availability, so as it's not injury- related. Whether past injury (severe high ankle sprain)
or something entirely new and current, that could linger and become a setback.
- And for those questioning the question of why does it matter to ask for Ball?
it does matter for a very raw guy with no game experience to attend as many camps, whether rookie, mini, or training camp
or preseason games because apparently that green-grass guy is gonna be counted on to be one of the upfront backup swing tackles
on the depth chart.
- It remains to be seen if Cowboys will consider an experienced vet swing OT at some point in camp.
- And the way Tyron Smith is assured to be/get hurt and out of several games, it's imperative to have these inexperienced guys
be caught up to par as much as possible, as soon as possible. .
No.Isn’t his roster exemption expired this year?
When does it?
Broaddus has been saying the same dumb crap over and over again. He said the Cowboys have questions about Dak too.i just heard Broaddus on 105.3 the Fan radio said Bobby Belt made mentioned that there may be some inside the Star that are starting to
have their questions about Jon Ball.
Take it for what you make what that means.
Is he all out of bubblegum?up-date.
he's ready to kick some candy-@$%.
yes.Is he all out of bubblegum?
