Not sure why they love Wells so much.

Even if he's a good position coach, OL is a different animal. We've tried promoting inexperienced TE coaches a couple of times over the years with disastrous results.
he's been a ol coach before,i believe.

Rumor is Lunda wells who was the TE's coach, may be considered for the OL coach.
I think there is a a tweet in another thread about it.
i also read something similar.
lunda wells moves to ol.
solari maybe moves to oc.
schottenheimer will call plays so it'll be interesting.

I’m right there with you . Ferguson was a 6 yards and a cloud of dust TE last season and Schoon & Spann Ford went under witness protection most of the season under Wells .

Instead of transferring Wells to OL search for an OL coach FO . Get out of the lazy boy with the cup holder .

As far as DL I would bring back Jeff Zgonina for a second season .

i read on a blog site he could be coming back...apparently the players like him.
I want coaches that are tough on players, constantly working on fundamentals and demand the players respect even if the players don’t like them.

Are Mike Solari (Oline) and Jeff Zgonina (Dline) remaining as the trenches coaches, or are the Dallas Cowboys replacing them?

Our trenches are very important. Any word on who is going to coach them in 2025?
What do you expect out of our FO?

It took them years to make a decission about a new HC. Leave them alone!

They are celebrating now pumping fists and getting drunk. Ask again in a week or two.

who says he doesn't.
lombardi was tough on his players and they said the same thing...they loved him.
the story i read said nothing of his coaching style...just that they loved the guy.

Since No-Schott was the reason Solari was brought in, I don't see that changing. In fact, I won't be surprised if Solari is named run game coordinator. I would assume if Eberflus is the defensive coordinator, we'd bring in coaches he's worked with. His defensive coordinator in Chicago was Eric Washington, and had served as a DL coach in other stops. Eberflus's DL coach with the Bears was Travis Smith. I'd guess one of those two guys.

He has 4 seasons as an assistant OL coach before being promoted to TE coach.

Nothing says “we are adapting to the modern NFL” like naming a 80 year old to be your OC

Maybe because most of his coaching career has been OL. Even as a player he was a guard who then went into coaching. It is not as if all he has coached was TE
