lol, all that stuff eventually is buyable at a reasonable price on the GTN

We were also bored with the lack of endgame content. We had a taste of pretty much everything the game had to offer. If they put really difficult ops in, more planets to quest on just to change it up a bit, etc... we'd probably resubscribe. Until then, we've found a vanilla Wow private server that's pretty freaking sweet. Usually around 5,000 people online at all times. It's a hell of a lot of fun.

yea, one thing that Bioware has not figured out yet, is the need for more endgame content. All the current ones are getting bumped up to 65 for the expansion, but no new raid until later after the expansion has been around a bit.

I generally play WoW for a while after each expansion but it just doesn't keep my interest for very long.

I stopped 2yrs ago.

BC was the best XP.

Yeah. In its current state, I can't bring myself to play retail. World of Garrisonfarmvillecraft.

My wife and I have been playing on a private server. It's been a blast. The community on it is huge. Usually around 5,000 people online at all times. Original "vanilla" servers were capped at 3,000. So you get the same experience as back in the day. Plus there's no "donation" items and it's free. Win win.

If you're interested, it's called Nostalrius WoW. You just go to their website and download their client and play. Super simple. Plus, the community has rolled back hundreds of addons to be compatible. If you try it out, I'm Krunkthorn on Horde side. :)

That's awesome and I may check it out. Now that the weather has cooled down I'll be spending less time on the computer and more time doing woodworking in the garage.

My wife and I played pretty religiously up through the Cataclysm expansion but it all started to seem very repetitive and we lost interest - especially since we weren't really into the PVP aspect of the game.

I'm sure a fair amount has changed since we last played, but don't think I'll be going back to that time suck anytime soon. I am, however, very excited for Fallout 4.

It has changed a lot. For the worse.

Hence why I play a vanilla private server. The game peaked in vanilla/burning crusade, then just gradually went downhill.

Yeah. Give it a shot if you're ever bored. Add me up, I'll give you some bags and stuff to start out with. (Remember how hard it was back in the day without bags?!)

It was absolutely better in vanilla! I'm going to have to check out that site. I quit playing about 2-3 years ago but I miss it sometimes.

You play WoW, Sam? :D

I played several years ago. I had a 50 something Mage and Warlock I believe. I burn out on them rather quickly. I don't think I've ever played a MMORPG more than say six months. I think it's mainly because I'm introverted. Those are more social games and I'm anti-social :D

EDIT: I just logged into battle.net. I have a 61 Orc Warlock and a 66 Undead Priest.
