How much time do they spend together in the locker room? Theyre doing PCs 45 minutes after the game, which i assume most of which is showering and getting dressed. One of the bigger myths of pro sports

Its a concern. But at the same time if all of these guys want Demarco back that bad they should all take pay cuts to get him the salary he wants. But I don't think the chemistry is THAT good lol. But its definitely a concern.

I reference a week 2 loss to the Buffalo Bills during our Super Bowl run in the 90s. Emmit was holding out and the Cowboys started 0-2. After the loss Haley punched a hole in the lockeroom wall and more or less told Jerry to "get Emmit signed". We went on to win the Super Bowl that year.

I don't think Murray is a "rare" talent. But 1900 yards is 1900 yards. And IF...IF...the Cowboys did not find him to be a "rare" talent...not sure why they gave him 500 touches last year. It was the biggest mismanaged position on the team last year. Never seemed like the front office and the coaching staff agreed on the talent on the importance of Murray as opposed to the other RBs. How many times AFTER a game did our GM remind us that Joseph Randle could have gained "100 yards out there today with the play of the OL" Had the position been managed correctly...Murray would gained around 1400 yards last year...would have been fresh the last quarter of the season plus playoffs...and Randle would have gotten a chance to prove to the front office and coaching staff what kind of RB he was.

Instead...we are stuck with the situation we are in...the most productive RB in the NFL potentially on his way out of town...and the guy Jerry Jones thinks can get 100 yards behind this OL...except when he is not stealing or allegedly beating his girlfriend!

Lock room chemistry and team leaders are just things the media and fans want to talk about.

You just need a group of guys that collectively can manage themselves for the most part and we have that.

The only thing that makes these guys "leaders" is they are superstars on the football field.

Wow, such ignorance. You obviously have no clue what leadership is.

Yes. Murray is the identity of the team.

Running the ball is the identity of the offense. Democro Murray is a running back who was part of that. Running the ball will continue to be the identity of offense even if Murray leaves.

Absolutely incorrect. It's how he ran the ball that sets him apart. It defined the team last year.

Maybe I am of the minority thinking that should DM leave, we will still be a running team. Whether its Randle, Williams, a FA or a draft pick, the Cowboys will still be a great running team. Not saying we won't miss his production for a single person standpoint. Just saying it from a team standpoint. As in, as opposed to a single guy getting 1845 yards, maybe two guys get 1000 yards each.

Guess we will find out should he leave.

the team has good chemistry in the locker room... I don't think that will change... although they may want to get dez wrapped up to keep it that way.
the chemistry i more concerned about if d29 leaves is on the field.....scheme wise.
