Nobody likes New England. Outside of the typical fan base any team has everyone hates them.

My second team is Miami, so yea I hate New England.
What's funny is that my fiancees stepdad is a Pats fan. Was quiet, wanted Brady benched at the start of the year, and even stopped watching games. Now he's back on the bandwagon.

I will say though I'm impressed with how strong that team has been since the early 2000's. Tons of players have come and gone, but they still made the playoffs a lot, and won a bunch of postseason games.

Dare I say this could be the most impressive dynasty in the NFL.

I don't find that true.

There's always fans from just about every team that likes them. They'll claim that they 'admire how they do things', but in reality they are closet fans.

To me, I don't like them for obvious reasons. I take the cheating seriously (I come from a golf background where even bending the rules is considered sacrilege).

But, I also think they are the most boring franchise to watch. I came from the 80's and 90's when the coaches had personalities, particularly in press conferences. Belichick has zero personality and comes off as charismatic as a tapeworm.

A family friend of ours used to work for Jets organization and then had his own company that worked with various teams.

When Belichick was first hired at New England he really didn't like the guy. He said that Belichick would go around, particularly to reporters, and tell them that he called a certain defensive play and talk about how brilliant his schemes were and how much of a genius he was. That's why that story of Parcells in Belichick's book (I was told this well before the book came out) where Parcells dressed him down for calling a blitz in the middle of the game even though it worked happened...Belichick was going into business for himself behind Parcells' back. Parcells knew about it because...he finds out about everything. And Parcells picked that time to put Belichick in his place. Of course, the book forgets to mention that and just makes Parcells look like this irrational tyrant jealous of Belichick's success.

He also worked with Kraft on a few projects and really didn't like him. Said that everybody liked Kraft's wife, but didn't like dealing with Kraft at all. He said that Kraft reminded him of Arthur Case in the move Inside Man, coming off as a respected businessman, but not a good guy if you got to know him.

I will say it will be interesting how this organization does once Brady is gone.

Not a NE and fan, but they've not won a title in a decade...and suffered at the hands of the Giants twice when they had the better team....especially in 2007.

I don't hate them but they do seem to like to bend the rules.

And why not? They basically get away with it.

For me there is something about Brady and Gronkowski that rub me the wrong way as well.

One thing is for certain - BOTH New England and Seattle sandbagged at the beginning of this season. Heck, Seattle sandbagged for 55 minutes of yesterday's game and STILL won.

Everybody hates Dallas and New England. Nobody hates Cleveland and Jacksonville.

Think about it.

New England is like an evil empire to me right now.

12 straight seasons of 10 wins or more. That is ridiculous - particularly in the salary cap era.

Bill Parcells: 0 career playoff victories (in 8 seasons) without Belichick on his coaching staff.

6 SB a appearances since 2000

That's crazy.

Seriously - even the Steelers of the 70s and the 49ers of the 80s were not THIS consistently good in terms of consecutive winning seasons - though each of those teams won more SBs over the same length of time.

As for the winning seasons - they still have a ways to go to break the mark of 20 straight set by Landry and Dallas - but in this era such consistency shouldn't be possible.

Imagine the pats winning 6 in 15 years. Ouch!
Had to root for the giants. Now I think I would have liked pats to win both.
Not caring about pats winning.

Yeah, it is hard to deny that kind of success in the parity and salary cap eras.

Yes, hate the Cheatriots as much as the Steelers and 49ers. In other words, on par with our NFC East rivals.

Seriously, how can anybody not hate them with that arrogant and smug HC/QB combo?
