im more irked by the Cowboys fans who keeping in the crap.
At the end of regulation with 1:00 and 1 TO left?In the 100 years of the nfl? Yes. Lions just this weekend had 2 tds within 1:14 of one another. Earlier this year the Bills had 2 TDs separated by 1:40.
I have two since 1999. I’ll see if I can find more before that:At the end of regulation with 1:00 and 1 TO left?
Scoring a TD, then recovering an onside kick?
Come on
2 since ‘99 is “many times”?I have two since 1999. I’ll see if I can find more before that:
Browns at Bears 2001:
Cleveland is down 14, scores a TD with 32 seconds left, gets the onside kick, uses their final TO and scores an TD again at the buzzer, wins in overtime.
Browns at Patriots 2013:
Final 1:01 of regulation, Patriots down 13, Brady throws a TD to Edelman, gets the onside kick, throws TD to Amendola to win with only 1 TO in between.
He failed again? This was his only failure this season in the final moments when we had a chance to win. Against Baltimore he brought us back from a huge deficit and put us in position for a game winning drive but we couldn’t stop the Ravens on a 3rd and 6 and they were able to run out the clock. Against Pittsburgh, Dak led us us on a last ditch game winning drive in the final moments. Keep living in the moment.Dak had his chance again and he failed again.
I didn’t say a lot, I said many times, which is more than a few times. Twice in 25% of the NFL’s history would imply it’s happened many times in the totality of NFL’s history2 since ‘99 is “a lot”?
I was referring to the final drive in SF and at home where he had plenty of time to get it done….playoffsHe failed again? I don’t care what kind of math you use…2 times in the last 25 years (about 7,000 games) is not “many times”I didn’t say a lot, I said many times, which is more than a few times. Twice in 25% of the NFL’s history would imply it’s happened many times in the totality of NFL’s history
That’s if we’re no longer arguing the possibility of the play and have devolved in pedantic semantics
not that he deserves any defense, and not like he didn't have multiple other downs, but that pass to turpin was gorgeous.Dak had his chance again and he failed again. Same thing happened a couple of years ago in the playoffs against them. Plenty of time to win the game and couldn’t get one yard. This contract is Carson Wentz city USA…..
semantics would be distorting the definition of "many" which is "a large number of" lolI didn’t say a lot, I said many times, which is more than a few times. Twice in 25% of the NFL’s history would imply it’s happened many times in the totality of NFL’s history

Clearly, you didn't actually watch that game. Some people have complete blinders on when comparing Romo and Dak. Anytime you lose a football game because the other team scores 51 points, it's not the QB. That's a game, the backup QB should have been in with 10 minutes left to go in the 4th quarter.
Actually I did watch that game. It's apparent that you didn't understand my post. Romo threw for 506 yards and 5 TDs. I invite anyone to try to find another QB that ever lost a game with those stats. But congratulations, yes I admit that Romo's one interception at the end of the game was responsible for 3 of the 51 points that Denver scored. My point being, that when your QB has a career day like he had, he should have been on the sideline for most of the last quarter watching the backups drain the clock. Not having to be on the field in the last minute of the game because the defense was incapable of stopping the Broncos from tying the score at 48.Clearly, you didn't actually watch that game.
Or, dementia may be settling in.
You’re right. I didn't understand your post. You literally said that, in a game where your opponent scores 51 points, to just put the backup QB in with 10 minutes left in the game.Actually I did watch that game. We wore them down.I agree Mountaineer. There was actually a moment in this game which was either late 3rd quarter or early 4th quarter - can't remember. But, the previous drive, Purdy scored on a QB sneak from the 3-yard line to put them up 27-10. Following the ensuing typical Dak-led drive which stalled immediately, the 49ers got the ball back. They were facing a 3rd down and 1. Rather than run the ball to pick up what should have been an easy 1st down, the 49ers got cute and rolled out Purdy who threw an incomplete pass, afterwards which they punted. I think had they gotten that 1st down, they would have driven down and scored again - and the route would have been on. Instead, the 49ers forgot how to play defense on our next two offensive series leading to two easy TD throws to Lamb, serving only to make the loss more appealing to some.
