I've been over there for a couple days and they've been respectful.

Some hopefuls, some doubters, but overall a cool board.

I like to get a feel of how opposing fans feel about the Cowboys during game week. I’ve been looking at a few Jets boards and here’s what I’ve learned.

1. They believe they will run on us and if they win it will be because of this.

2. Their defense is better than ours.

3. A lot of worry about Wilson, but many think he will do better against our D than Dak will against theirs.

4. Most believe it will be low scoring.

5. They have dissected our Giants games and believe a lot of what happened with the Giants (blocked FG, fumbles, INTs) won’t happen with them. Therefore the Giants performance being a mirage that overrated us.

6. They respect Parsons and know that he has to be slowed down.

7. They aren’t worried at all about Dak. They believe he’s going to turn the ball over a couple times.

8. They’ve been keeping up with our injuries and are well aware Cooks and Martin are iffy. They seem a little gitty about it too.

9. There are quite a few that have us winning also, but low scoring and close.

10. They worry about their O-Line. They know it’s weak and many believe Wilson won’t even throw many passes.

11. They seem to really want to trade for Cousins.

1. No, they aren't going to do much because Wilson is their qb. Cowboys will be able to stop them.

2. Their defense is not better than the Cowboys.

3. Dak is much better than Wilson.

4. The Cowboys will blow them out.

5. No mirage, the Cowboys are scary good.

6. They can't slow down Parsons.

7. Dak should play well.

8. Martin should play. Tolbert can play for Cooks.

9. Cowboys blow them out.

10. Their oline is in bad shape and should get destroyed.

11. Cousins looked good against the Eagles.

I monitor our opponents boards pretty frequently. Early in the seasons when everyone has a little hope and no idea who their team is it is much more entertaining to read. I haven't been to any Jets MB yet. What is their most active?

FWIW I am a member on the Giants ProBoards and have some almost 500 posts over the last 4 years. I keep it low key and never confrontational. I'll also post over on Bleeding Green Nation but Philthy phans are a totally different critter. Most are arrogant, filthy language, azzholes that consider it counting coup to be ulgarly demeaning to opposing fans. Hard to stomach those types and impossible to converse with.

I've also had interactions with Minny, GB, NE, and Carolina fans. Carolina fans are special, not as bad as Philthy, but "special" know-it-alls. Now, those Patriot fans were real nice until you beat their pants off with big plays.

Great amusement for me.

It's their board. Jets fans have had so little to look forward to for decades. It would be like going to a homeless shelter and picking on people there for being poor, or getting mad at them because they were taking pride in their homeless shelter.

Yea, who goes to opposing fan sites.

I’ve been on Cowboys sites for 15 years and never had interest . I have enough issues with my own team without discourse with fans I have no interest.

But I’ve heard of fans like that who have fun trolling opposing fans boards. There’s apparently a big market for that. When we had the forum on Cowboys official site they flooded the forum in game day.

This site doesn’t allow immediate entry and limits the infiltration some sites are over run with especially on game day while not allowing new threads during the game.

I think it is a spillover from the region. Even though they are in ACC country they seem to have that SEC mentality ... "we know football and the rest of y'all don't. "
