Yeah, that fanbase is surprisingly close to 85% of the cockiness of Eagles fans. I don't even understand where that comes from and I lived there (well, in SC) for almost 10 years. Some of the nicest, most hospitable people. But that football fanbase, woof!

I, too, was surprised by the level of vitriol from the Panthers fans. Why? There’s no rivalry. The Panthers won both playoff games. They essentially ended the 90s dynasty. It seems they’d have no reason to hate.
Many of the poor sods in the Carolina were ex Deadskin fans that suddenly found themselves with a pro football team……I may also blame some of their arrogance on their delicious potent peach brandy.
