Anybody else starting to think Joshua Dobbs might be legit?

TD to INT ratio of 4-0. How is he bottom 5 in most metrics? He played well enough to beat the Giants they had a 28 point lead the defense blew it, and they lost to the 49ers arguably the best NFL team (he played well) and the Commanders who are better than expected. I would say he's not the cause of the team losing.
Yeah sounds like somebody is using their opinions as facts.. Here are some metrics that he most definitely is NOT bottom 5.

completion percentage: 70.7 (7th)
TD-INT ratio: 4-0 (T1st)
Air Yards/Attempt: 7.3 (12th)
passer rating 99.4 (10th)
QBR: 67.5 (9th)

Wonder what all those "most metrics" are that dude was referring to..

I watched some of his performance against the 49ers yesterday and dude didn't exactly wet the bed. 28-41 265 yards 2 TD no picks. That's doin work against that defense. 102 passer rating. Seems like he did all he could their defense just couldn't stop McCaffrey. Anyway.. 4 TD and no picks so far this season.. I remember him being pretty good at Tennessee in college and wondered why he didn't get drafted higher. He has shown enough to at least be a long time backup in the league.. maybe more..
He is literally a aerospace scientist that can run under a 4.65 40 yd time and has a strong accurate arm. Besides being a physically gifted QB his cone drill numbers are WR, RB, and CB elite.

Yeah I wonder if his commitment to academics didn't work against him during the pre-draft evaluation process. He was probably like "Yeah if I don't get drafted I'm just gonna go work for NASA!" NFL execs want guys to eat, drink and sleep football and sometimes get turned off when a kid isn't just dying to play for them. Remember that kid at Florida State who was a Rhodes Scholar and an preseason all-America I forget his name... He was like and all world DB or LB who I think just walked away from the sport because they kept on him to drop all them hard classes and focus on football.

He's smart. You can't downplay that especially at the QB position.

That's why a lot of the most successful aren't necessarily the prototypical size or athletic measurables.

He deserves some respect. We can all sit back & see where he takes it from here.

Myron Rolle and his family is full of very good football players.

NFL GM/executives or glorified PE teachers/administrators. That is why Tex Schramm was such a great GM because his background was TV, Journalism, and entertainment. Gil Brandt was photography.

To knock players because they are smart is just...Dumb.

Its true though. Teams knock guys down for stuff like that. Front offices would rather have a dumb athletic player than a smart one who may be more concerned with his intellect than football because they fear those guys won't play very long.

Let’s see…… he is in his 7th season, has his team off to a 1-3 start, and is ranked among the bottom 5 QBs in most all metrics. So how low is the bar here?.
He beat us. We have to make it feel better. That's the bar.
