Anybody heard if Henson...

I don't think anyone can claim we have a solid offensive line right now. There is potential for that to happen but potential does not mean it will happen.

Yes. And I never thought of it that way too much until now. I said before, and still believe we will be pleasantly surprised by their good play this year. But it's not the OL we would want.

Flo's knee, Koiser, will / can be replace LA of 5 years ago, or at least be 90%, No true C, as I do not care for the Gurode / Johnson rotation. Rivera's back, and who will emerge at RT. Even then, will they give us the play we expect. Fabini is older and is coming off an injury, Pettiti, how improved will he actually be. And Colombo, supposedly has improved and is in better shape.

However, JJT said Colombu was one of the most non athletic looking guys he's seen there for a while. Doesn't mean he can't play, he jusy doesn't look it. But then again neither did Nate Newton.

Hey, I've got JJT's back on this one.

The offensive line has a ton of question marks.

yep...barring major injuries the OL is clearly the key to the season...if its no better than last yr our record probably wont be any better

if Adams is 100% or close to it it will help immensely, but the other 4 positions are chock full of questionable players

I heard Henson was cut...

Think about it people. First time Bill was asked about Henson's Progress he said the did see it. The second time he was asked he said not really, I was expecting more. Something smells fishy folks. I think he is trying to pull out the best in Henson this camp while at the same time pumping up Romo to see what he has before that contract is up. I think BP thinks Henson responds to critsisim while Romo responds while bening pumped up. Plus BP says all of this just before training camp. In other words, this is the camp we will finally see with our oun eyes who has it and who does not. Gentleman, Romo either has it or not. If someone goes at the end of this season it will be Romo if he gets beat by Henson not the other way. No more excuses for either.............This is it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I totally agree

Actually if it's no better than last year (and also no worse) than we should win 2 - 3 more games since we now have a kicker that can make a field goal.

heh - really? TOO COOL and congrats to the mods for making this a place that does get that type of respect from jjt!!! gotta love that.

however, (always one of those) i've been in full agreement of this since before the end of last year and i think just about everyone in here knows my own stance - we ignored it and we will pay.

GO JJT!!!! there are some of us who've stayed quiet (not me) to avoid stupid "but if all great things happen, they'll be great!!!" debates. sure...if all great things happen greatness will ensue.

fan talk.

in reality, if 50% of those ?'s turn out good - is it enough? what is a *realistic* measuring stick to "hope" for? that everyone is fine i hope most will agree is *not* realistic.

so - let's get on the field and see what happens and who's right / wrong and hope in the end we can all remember we are fans of the same team even with diverse opinions. : )

Ice I know we've debated this before, and you've debated this with everyone pretty much. But I think the consensus among most fans is we still have question marks on the OL. The only thing most of us disagree with is your contention that we "ignored" the issues we had there.

So before you go taking credit saying JJT agrees with you, you need to understand what he's saying. He's saying there are question marks... everyone acknowledges that. What he's NOT saying is that we totally ignored the issue, which is what you're saying.

I didn't see the original post about Henson supposedly being cut, but I'm pretty sure that won't happen, at least not before TC. One of the reasons they brought in Mroz was so they would have and extra QB in trianing camp. Makes no sense to cut one before then.

This is a vicious rumor and no doubt was started by a Henson hater. If people would just do their research they'd know Henson uses electric.

If a Drew gets cut and nobody is around to hear it, is he really off the team?

I guess thats a philosophical question. If you go to a far out place and get lost and die. Are you dead or just lost to the people?

Well to be legally dead you must have a death certificate and if you are in the woods and not found one would not be made, so you are missing?
