Anybody here think Jerry should have hired Norv Turner instead???

Good morning. Who here thinks that Jerry should have hired Norval over Wade? The reason I ask is because on one of the ESPN shows yesterday had some reporters sitting around and chatting about Norval going to SD. One of the guys stated he thought not only was Norval a great selection, but he thought Dallas should have picked him over Wade. This is poppycock in my objective opinion and all on this board should by now know my feelings on Norval as head coaching material. While I am not thrilled with Wade, he was probably one of the better choices given what was left after BP strung out his decision to return.

Been over this many times. Phillips is the man and no I don't think Norv would have been a good fit in Dallas at this time

The timeliness of this is just goofed up. We had several weeks of debate over who Jerry should hire. We're 2 1/2 weeks past the revalation of the choice. Suddenly we need to go backwards and discuss the whole process again and whether or not the right choice was made?

How about we discuss some football instead? For crying out loud, we have all kinds of information overload from the Combines, Stewart possibly as DC.

I think this has been hashed out ad nauseum.

They saw Dallas hired Phillips so any hope they may have had to hire Phillips themselves went out the window.

Proph, I'm going to have to side with Hostile on this matter. This is pretty much a dead issue. Why the Chargers selected Norval is beyond my comprehension. The time has come to move on, brother.
