I was thinking about buying it. It looked good on the previews. Just wondering if it was worth the $19.99.

Never seen a single Oliver Stone movie worth buying...

I'm going to Redbox and renting it for $1 this weekend.

Platoon and Salvador are two of my favorite movies. JFK and World Trade Center are both very watchable.

Oh he makes plenty of watchable movies... he just doesn't make any "must own" movies...

Platoon is as close as it gets for me...

Not at all worth $20. I'd go with the $1 Redbox thing if you're interested.

Are you talking about Netflix? I guess I'll have to set up an account.

I really liked Talk Radio and Platoon was good. The rest that I have seen is awful.

Either rent it or don't bother to watch it at all is my recommendation.

I like many of Stone's movies but this is not really one of them.

Josh Brolin does a decent job acting and the cast is pretty solid.

It has all kinds of Bush family personal stuff even though nobody ever bothered to actually speak with any Bush family members to get information....odd.

In a time when Bush was easy prey--and so many in the media and hollywood were taking their shots at every chance possible--Stone did not go overboard. It was more anti-Bush than not, but not nearly as bad as some would have liked.

You expected Stone to do some actual research? :lmao:

We saw it last night and it kept my interest all the way until the end.
