I will never forget what Dean Blandino did to us. The fact that people are still discussing it nearly a year later proves it was inconclusive so you stick with the call on the field.

Anyways are any players or coaches talking about revenge for last year?

I didn't even know Blandino was playing.

Was Vegas playing when Carolina used them as motivation for our game?

If the Cowboys need Blandino for motivation in this game, our season is in even bigger trouble than I thought.

I'm just guessing, but I feel pretty confident that they are at least slightly motivated by the need to win some freaking games and the possibility of stealing the division.

Can't revenge a playoff loss during the regular season. If we want revenge we need to make the playoffs and end their season.

How would winning this game would be revenge on Blandino? Is there any reason to believe he cares at all about Green Bay?

I am.

I got 3 Packers fans at work that are getting an earful from me.

Hopefully Dallas cashes my checks for me

Seemed to be a catch for many other players under the same circumstances. BUt sure.

You're wrong the league has been very consistent with this rule. Any receiver that's been deemed going to the ground and didn't maintain possession of the ball through the contact of the ground were ruled incomplete. If I'm wrong post a video of a play that wasn't ruled incomplete and I'll break it down for you.

I'm guessing they have that in mind. They may look at it as not being eliminated two years in a row at Lambaeu. May come out firing on defense.

I broke that play down several weeks ago. Tate had already caught the ball "before" going to the ground. He wasn't going to the ground through the process of trying to make the catch. The problem with that play was he didn't have the ball long enough (in my opinion) to be a catch. Several experts thought the same thing including Mike Pereira.

The overall situation with the refs is just plain bad. Mike Pereira is another problem. He INSTANTLY piped up that Dez didn't catch the ball. I sense he was trying to taint Blandino as he knew Blandino was watching. I've NEVER seen Mike Pereira so passionate about a single call.

Bottom line is that they need to stop over officiating and also get people like Pereira off the TV. They also cannot allow a single individual to sit in front of a TV and make calls that overrule the refs on the field. In Dez's case, the ref standing 1 yard from him called it a catch. His ruling is what counts.

Fair enough explanation, but I think the Devonta Freeman non TD was pretty bad too..His intent was to dive for the TD and it got reversed because of the rule.

No, because last year was a different season and much better situation than this season. It's a cliche, but the Cowboys are only looking at the Packers as the next team on the schedule that they must defeat to keep their playoff hopes alive. Now if the Cowboys were to somehow make it to the playoffs and face the Packers, and Romo was the quarterback, then I am sure there would be some payback mentality winning-wise. But defeating a team in the regular season that ended your season last year offers little consolation.
