Fair enough explanation, but I think the Devonta Freeman non TD was pretty bad too..His intent was to dive for the TD and it got reversed because of the rule.

No one likes the rule but it's a RULE until the league comes up with something that's more acceptable to the players and the fans.

You're wrong the league has been very consistent with this rule. Any receiver that's been deemed going to the ground and didn't maintain possession of the ball through the contact of the ground were ruled incomplete. If I'm wrong post a video of a play that wasn't ruled incomplete and I'll break it down for you.

Last season there were 2 clear examples. One by Eifert and one by Julius Thomas. Both ruled catches.

I will never forget what Dean Blandino did to us. The fact that people are still discussing it nearly a year later proves it was inconclusive so you stick with the call on the field.

Anyways are any players or coaches talking about revenge for last year?

Discussing it a year later proves nothing, other than people are agitated about it. The rulebook itself proves it was a catch. The mindless speeches from Blandino afterwards show that he tried to stretch the words to take away that catch, but in the end, the written words in the rule book prove it was a catch.

There's nothing inconclusive about it.... it was a catch.

As for the rivalry, if Romo was playing, yes it would be a revenge game. But it's not. Like Reality said, just another game on the schedule. Now, if Dallas makes it into the playoffs, (it seems no one else in the NFC East wants it), and Romo returns somehow, then revenge is on. Until then, wait and see.

The rule you're referring to, is not written in the rulebook. It's the strange interpretation Blandino is trying to sell, it's NOT what was written.

Already broke down the Thomas play months ago it was different than Dez's catch. Post the video of both plays and I'll break them down.
