Anybody Think We Pick Up Melton's Option?

Crawford is a great example of finding high motor talent. hes out playing Melton right now[/
you are'nt going to know what melton has till about mid season as most fans who looked at his injury have said. he will be judged on how he finishes, not the first 5 games where he has'nt played alot. that said, we do have options at that spot with crawford for next year so i think to keep him you need the price down

It is a team option that would pay Melton around $9 million a year, basically top 5 DT money. I think the Cowboys would have to be crazy to pick up that option, no way in hell is Melton a top 5 DT. He barely plays more than 25 snaps a game.

For top 5 money, I expect Warren Sapp out there, not some guy that has to be on a 20 snap rotation.
