If a poster has stated in the past that any coaching hire is doomed to fail while Jerry Jones is the general manager, should that same poster offer a yea or nay opinion about Fisher or any other possible head coaching candidate? I mean, if one were to employ that particular sense of logic, what would it really matter?

Well at least I stated that JJ probably wouldn't relinquish the reins so I'm highly doubtful we will get Fisher or Fisher would want that type of situation here. But since we are talking IFs here, he is somebody this team could use without a doubt.

We all have our preferences. Not a surprise. However, I think most of us can agree that anything would be better than The Big Indecisive AKA Michelin Man AKA Cupcake Master AKA Wade Phillips.

I doubt he is going to get canned considering they just extended his contract last year, but if the Titans were stupid enough to let him go I would love to have him as Dallas' coach.

That's a weak hypothesis to base that 'if' upon. There was a long standing and widely held opinion that Jerry Jones would never hire another head coach of the caliber of Bill Parcells. He did. Thus, he has already disproven that urban legend.

Honestly, I'd prefer we stay in the 3-4 until Ware is done. If Fisher means end of 3-4 then no thanks.

We really run a 5-2 when you see how often our OLBs are rushing the passer.

Since Jerry Jones did not offer any tangible hints that he was going to fire Phillips, anyone who has followed Jones' tendencies over the past 20 years assumed that he wouldn't.

Hey guys, I know Fisher acted like a jerk about the videoboard, but would anybody want him to replace Wade if the Titans can his arse???

There have been only 3 teams to ever start 0-3 and make the playoffs, so it looks like the Titans are going to be home for the holidays after losing to the Jets today.

I dont think Bud Adams is going to fire Fisher, but if he did would he be a good fit to replace fat boy Wade??? We would have to go back to the 4-3, but we might as well since our 3-4 blows.

I would take Fisher over fat boy Wade in an instant, but that is just me.

I like Fisher but if he went as long here without a Super Bowl win as he has in Tennessee he would be dodging snipers by now.

This town is simply insanely unrealistic.

Fisher is a better coach then Wade for sure but we wouldn't be hoisting Lombardi's regularly with him or any other coach and he'd get abused by the media same as Wade.
