Anyone catch what Ware said?

Post interview with Babe Luaghenberg. He said it didn't matter what the pass rush does when the Quarterback can just lob it in the air and complete the pass.

Babe looked shocked that Ware threw the secondary under the bus. I was kind of happy he did.

Then Ware said that becasue he sees it happening in practice, it doesn't surprise him that it happens in games. Inferirng to me that the secondary isn't even performing well in practices.

Thought it was a little refreshing for someone to finally say something with a little "meat" to it. Rather than the regular run of the mill - "we work hard" and "we just gotta get a win"....

Well...in fairness to the secondary, they can just say that it's easy for any QB to lob a pass up when he has enough time to step up in the pocket. The DLine creates no pressure and the secondary can't cover anyone. Recipe for a terrible defense.

Maybe the secondary should remind Ware that he cost the team first downs the last two games either by penalty or by failing to keep contain. He also has no sacks the last two games either.

Exactly..... I can see Dez being mad at his guys because he came out and played great, but Ware played bad as well.

Ware has the most sacks over the last 3 seasons than any other player in the NFL. You think it is only this year that he has been double teamed?? Ware has been copping double linesman coverage for the last 3 years at least.

I am amazed people are jumping on him when the whole team is playing crap and Ware has 8 sacks from 9 games this year and the question's and criticisms should be pointed at other's not D Ware. People are living in fantasy land if you think he is going to get to the QB every play.

Watch Ware and watch Mathews. Like night and day (no pun intended). Mathews is a monster. Ware has a few good plays but is not a disruptive force like Mathews

Yup, the sad thing is that Ware was barely even getting double-teamed or even chipped by RBs. What he needs is a capable threat alongside him for him to be at his best. He had his 20 sack season when Greg Ellis was playing opposite him. We had those 61 sacks in 07 with Ware and Ellis coming off the edge. Let's be honest, Anthony Spencer is a HORRIBLE pass rusher. You want to talk about Ware having no moves...Spencer is even worse. No moves, no explosiveness, nothing.

Lets just see what Matthews is doing after he has been playing in the league for as long as Ware has. People are forgetting he is still a new kid on the block.

Look at Jared Allen last year compared to this year..... Ware is the most consistent pass rusher in the league. The T.D Matthews had fell into his lap on a plate and was pure luck and our OL is terrible right now and Kitna is not the most mobile QB last time i looked and lacks awareness like Rodgers has.
