Very dissapointed to hear this news with Diggs feel terrible for him to miss out on what looked like a historic defense this year and personally just sick to my stomach that we get robbed of what could of been. I'm still intrigued at how we are going to be, and I think we still have a great team. That said, especially as a young fan who's never seen success, this is getting really deflating. I seriously think we have a SB caliber team rn. I was so excited seeing how good we looked. And now this happens. And then, if we don't win the SB, we're going to be disrespected and bashed for supporting the team we love. It's like, everyone else is allowed to say they had a great season if they make the playoffs. For us, it seems like we are portrayed as being awful and losers if we don't win the SB. I'm sick of how we are treated by the media.

Hardly a reason to despair. We've overcome injuries in the past. See last year. It sucks to lose him but this pass rush is phenomenal. Even losing Diggs I'm confident this defense will not take a step back. Bland has proven to be a ball hawking playmaker in the secondary. Lewis is solid. Igbinoghene (can someone give this guy a nickname so I don't have to Google it) is an unknown right now. Yeah he struggled in MIA. This ain't MIA. Quinn may be able to tap into the talent that made him a 1st rounder. Wait and see

Step off the ledge. it's week 3. Yes, losing Diggs is a big blow, but this is still a very talented defense. They seem to play for each other, so whoever slides into his spot will have plenty of support and help. This is still a very very good defense.

And if any DC can find a way to get by, it's Quinn.

Pretty much. But the thing is, it's only 2 games in. Just wait for all the other injuries that pop up. Suspensions lumped in as well. This is only the beginning as every season is something.

We can't even win when we are on top of the league and healthy as can be. No way we actually win having to overcome adversity.
